And in addition to that, the players we have aren't some non league loggers suddenly promoted to the prem. We have a lot of prem experience within our squad already, many of them now better than Adam. Lallana might be a success for us but the likes of McCarthy - if here - kwp, Bednarek, Stephens, Armstrong etc already knows what it takes to be a success in the prem.

I was talking about the wider fan base. There's clearly still some people who aren't welcoming him with open arms particularly and a sensible pr move on his part would have been to allude to his actions and appear humble. Certainly wouldn't have done him any harm but maybe he will do an interview with Adam Blackmore.

Doesn't see like he's acknowledged how he left or given any sort of contrition which is a shame. Would have been a good opprtunity to address it for those who still have reservations and move on.
-
Or because today is the day the window opens?
-
That was said last year and he did rather well.
-
Absolutely well said. The hypocrisy is stunning and it should not be the case that this sort of thing is OK because you don't happen to like the politician. It's not a bit of a laugh it's a serious thing.
-
Won't be so funny if someone uses acid next. Or someone actually connects with a brick on a politician.
-
Yes I see your point and I can see the difference, I still think that treating any attacks on politicians and the idea that it's socially acceptable is going to lead to a climate where people think it's an OK thing to do. You're right that there will always be terror attacks of some kind but during an election in particular, any attacks should be cracked down on.
-
It's really worrying that anyone thinks this sort of thing is remotely acceptable. Many in the media are trivialising it too, essentially laughing at Farage getting a milkshake in his face and basically encouraging repeats. It doesn't matter what political persuasion you are, even the likes of nick Griffin deserves to campaign in an election without the threat of violence. Defeat people with ideas and argument.

It's disgusting to be honest. They really need to bring in extremely harsh sentences for any attacks or attempted attacks on mps to act as a deterrent. I saw Jo cox's family were expressing their concern.

Saints Kits Season 2024/25 - Page 24 NSFW

Yuck. -
Dominic kotarski, some keeper from Austria even though he has signed with someone else.
-
If that's true then imo we've given up before the season has started.
-
No it could be backup keeper role. If he leaves we will need his replacement for his role in the squad. Hopefully we will be signing another keeper regardless of what happens with him. Thinking logically if Bazunu is out for most of the season we can't go into the campaign with McCarthy and Lumley as our two keepers.
-
We don't know what role McCarthy is being lined up for. Hopefully backup.

When soggy posts in this manner it's like talking to my 15 year old relative who just regurgitates what their teacher has told them (in soggy's case it would be James O'brien) and then when you scratch the surface by asking any questions, their brain locks up and they have no answers. Because when you're young you get most of your opinions from authority figures and do very little thinking of your own. Most people grow out of that but not always...

Dribbling ability? Can take on and beat players, speed, should be able to create a lot more panic in the opposition defence than he does. I genuinely don't think he suited the system.
-
Whilst I don't disagree, worth remembering that he's still only 22 and clearly has a lot of attributes to succeed at the top. If he could channel his obvious talents in the right way then he could be great. Sadly that might come too late for us and we might see him tearing it up in the French league or something like that.
-
Good to see a few links to goalkeepers this morning. I thought we'd attempt to get in a decent one.
-
All a bit irrelevant. Getting rid of our nuclear deterrent is never going to be popular enough to be a viable option. Thankfully.
-
I really can't see us going into the season with the same attack as last year. As a minimum you'd think we would upgrade Mara.
-
Javi and saf?

Jan koller is signing any day now.
