  1. Excellent. We'll have this transfer malarkey sorted by the end of July at this rate.
  2. I'd take Rodon and 10.
  3. Iknoe they had a while ago but hadn't seen any recent links.
  4. I think they will if we need money to buy.
  5. No one is paying that for Alcaraz. 15 tops imo.
  6. I'll have another go at the team based on rumours and possibles Patterson Kwp Rodon THB Sessegnon Downes new cm Armstrong Clarke New AM Bereton Diaz Would people take that? I'd say we need a new AM obviously and a Smallbone alternative but otherwise that's looking good with maybe Ghoddos, Lallana and Fraser in the squad and probably an alternative to Armstrong.
  7. Clarke is the one to go for. No idea how likely it is that we get him but he's clearly their best player.
  8. Has anyone mentioned Jack clarke? That's who I'd like to sign from Sunderland given the chance. We've been linked to their keeper but he looks quite average to me.
  9. Yep that's exactly my point. I have no doubt he's worth that much to us.
  10. Source? I'd be shocked if West ham signed him and only gave him 25k a week. We gave Jason Euell 15k a week in the championship.
  11. No reason we can't get something like that on loan. Throw in a reasonably priced lb (sessegnon on a free if fit?) and a team of Quality gk Kwp Bednarek/new signing THB Sessegnon Downes Loanee Armstrong Fraser/Lallana Loanee Quality striker Should make us competitive. Then if we have the likes of Ghoddos and that Fulham player to pad out the squad even better.
  12. Getting Downes and THB and then signing a decent striker and gk with the rest of the squad filled out with lower price prem experience and loans is the way to go. It should give us decent talent in every area of the pitch and should hopefully at least make us competitive.
  13. He was our player of the season. He's also absolutely fundamental to how we play and our most important player. You can't divorce him from how important he was to us last year. Luckily no one has actually said that's what they are demanding, I'm just saying I'd be surprised if they weren't asking for something around that figure.
  14. Not sure I agree. Unless we sign him or can sign someone to replicate what he does then we will have next to no hope of survival. Bringing back Fraser, THB and Downes and signing a half decent keeper and striker as a minimum will give us an excellent chance of survival. Hopefully irrelevant anyway if he's available for significantly less, I'm just surprised they wouldn't ask for more if it's true.
  15. Remains to be seen but given how we play he's our most important player.
  16. Given the situation, he's clearly worth more to us than 12 million.
  17. Maybe it's just ab agreement to allow Göztepe to benefit from some loans on top of the separate business which is the transfer fee for Onuachu?
  18. Personally I can't see that given his relationship with the manager and last season. He either signs for us or stays at West ham. I can't believe they'd sell him for 12 million given that they know we are desperate to sign him. You'd at least ask for 20.
  19. Just googled it and I think it would be their second biggest transfer outlay of all time so seems rather unlikely, particularly with three players in exchange. Much more likely to be something like 7 million imo.
  20. Beşiktaş is the club that officially made the offer to Southampton. If the black-whites transfer Onuachu, they will give Javi Montero, Mustafa Hekimoglu and Emre Bilgin to Göztepe. Mustafa will come to Göztepe on loan. Official talks were held last night.
  21. I saw another tweet from someone else saying it wasn't feberbache. Personally don't believe it. Edit: the twitter account has said its besiktas.
  22. Did he strip down to his boxers and flex in the mirror until she let herself out?
  23. Don't think there's anything concrete but IF true that's fantastic business and significantly boosts our available funds for this season.
  24. Yep and Southgate has barely played TAA during his tenure and then decides he needs to be in the starting eleven played out of position whilst some of the promising youngsters who may be able to do a much better job like Wharton and Mainoo are virtually ignored. A ruthless manager would have done what is required to win. Yesterdays performance was nothing short of a disgrace given the talent at our disposal. I'd give Gomez a go at LB if Shaw isn't fit (which begs the question why we bothered to take him in the first place), I'd sack off Trent completely, try some combinations of the new lads in midfield (Eze, Gordon, Gallagher, Mainoo, Wharton, Bowen etc) if it isn't working with this lot and replace Kane if he isn't up to it. All this should have been done prior to the tournament starting of course but it's a bit late now.
  25. I don't know if it's my bias, but England looked significantly worse at passing and balls over the top last night than saints. Zero purpose in many of those forward balls.
