  1. Ifhe's wort that much then he won't be putting much in the club...
  2. Oscar Gobern looked immense when he came on, fantastic vision and movement, definitely a player to look at. Dissapointed with Albie and Easter, who never really got into the game tonight!

  4. I was disappointed when I found out about this but now I really really REALLY don't care. It's not important, move on.
  5. I don't like labour or the conservatives but I think it's worth changing things up and giving the Tories a go. I like what they say about reducing the overbearing nature of government.
  6. well done mate. I see you posted it as well.
  7. I would love to see pompey with a 36,000 seater stadium. After about a season they won't even get close to filling it.
  8. Went with my Dad and sat in the Itchen. It was his first game for 4 years. Was fantastic.
  9. Pompey's new owner Ali Al Faraj is said to be "very supportive" of plans to redevelop Fratton Park as soon as possible. In a meeting with journalists at the club's ground this afternoon, chief executive Peter Storrie revealed Al Faraj's ambitions for Portsmouth to be a World Cup city in 2018 and to build a new training ground at Lee-on-the-Solent. Mr Storrie said: "He (Al Faraj) has seen the plans and is very supportive of the plans and he's happy with them." But plans for a dream stadium at Horsea Island are currently being shelved by Mr Al Faraj, he said. "He would like to get a stadium quickly so therefore it's going to be Fratton because Horsea Island is going to take a long, long time and could go to public inquiries and God knows what else." Mr Storrie said the club are in the process of revising plans for Fratton Park to incorporate retail and boost capacity to 36,000-seater capacity with the ability to extend to 45,000 with temporary seating in place for World Cup games, which is required by Fifa. Storrie also said he held talks with Portsmouth City Council yesterday to discuss the 2018 World Cup bid and update them on the new ownership. Lol so no new stadium for pompey after all!
  10. How dull.
  11. Big lol at the hero photos.
  12. I would do mate but you don't have PMs!
  13. Apologies I wasn't referring to your post. Thanks for the info.
  14. Would appreciate serious replies please. It's a compulsary part of the course so exploring some avenues
  15. Just thought I would ask on here. My cousin is an advertising and marketing student at bournemouth university and is currently seeking a placement either for next year or for six weeks in the summer. Does anyone work in these fields who would be willing to take on a student for this period? Help out a fellow saints fan?
  16. Cheers for that. My cousin is an advertising and marketing student and needs a placement
  17. Who is responsible for the pr and marketing at the club and how I would contact them?
  18. Cheers guys. Did anyone do the new forest half a couple of weeks ago? It's been my favourite so far.
  19. I think it was meant to be a compliment. I think Adam has been really great recently but I also realise that he has been very inconsistent up until recently.
  20. Perhaps. I think playing him consistently in a position he is good in has helped as well. Maybe it has helped him to define in his own mind the job he is meant to do for the team.
  21. Hey everyone. I'm running the New York Marathon in just over three weeks time for the MS society. It's my first marathon and it's been quite a challenge so far! (I did the clarendon half marathon yesterday which is pretty much uphill all the way.) I've splashed out on some decent running shoes and some expensive running socks which have really made a difference and the socks especially have stopped my feet from hurting after long distances. I've worked out a 20 mile run for myself next week and then I'm winding down and doing little distances often before the big race. It's not about the time for me, it's about getting round and the experience. Does anyone else have any marathon experience? Do they have any words of wisdom or advice to impart? I'm sort of nervous but I'm also really excited. The experience is going to be fantastic.
  22. Nothing to do with Duncan at all. I would be saying exactly the same thing if ANYONE had started this thread.
  23. How am I being a prat? If you start some attention seeking thread for the 2nd time in a year saying the same things and complaining because the people on the forum aren't how you want them to be and then you don't leave anyway then what's the point of this thread.
  24. Nope. That's his relatives.
