  1. The key word being if. Also your original prediction never really came true did it! Not that it matters, we both got what we wanted (pompey failing). Happy new year smug man .
  2. Arent you like 18?
  3. TDD I think you have it a bit wrong. The amount of debt is not really the problem, it's who they owe the debt to. Reportedly they owe Sasha 30-40 million and he owns the surrounding land round fratton as security. They have taken a 15 million pound loan from a hong kong businessman secured against their ground. The also owe HMRC a sum of money and a number of clubs money for players. Now if they were to go into admin, the money owed to clubs has to be paid in order to play in the league. HMRC must be paid in full or they will refuse a CVA which will incur further point penalties. They must pay Sasha what he is owed or he can keep the surrounding ground and refuse to allow the expansion of fratton and they must pay the 15 million back or they won't have a ground to play in! Any new owner coming in will have to pay all of this off (being generous and factoring in this seasons tv money it's still going to be something north of 30 million) and they still don't own their training ground or have a half decent stadium. Markus got a fantastic deal on us because we owed very little to anyone other than stadium debt which could be negotiated once we entered admin. If the skates go into admin then they will cease to exist.
  4. No it isn't. Pompey do not own their own ground or the surrounding land. The also owe HMRC and other clubs. All of these things have to be paid in full if they want to play in the league and avoid any further points deductions. That's before we factor in the 15 million pound loan secured against their ground. I can't see anyone buying them should they go into admin.
  5. Spudgun can we have an apostrophe? "Club's"
  6. Lol Pompey fans applauding the away team as they concede a third. What a loser club.
  7. I thought it was Chinese?
  8. It's not the busiest of forums but some good selections:
  9. They banned me first time for referring to saints rather than scum!
  10. He is another moderator on the same forum. He has tried (unsuccessfully) to track me down on there and ban me
  11. But they will vote against the CVA unless they get all they are owed...
  12. Admin of the pompeyonline messageboard.
  13. I trust exit2. He is reliable and has been correct in the past. I doubt Nigel would come here but I think there is truth that we are interested in trying to get him.
  14. This will be the third time they have not been paid on time, voiding their contracts.
  15. Except that in order to play in the league they have to setle all fotball related debts. Am I right in thinking that the majority of their debts are either football related or HMRC? (as well as that Hong Kong bloke who they owe 15 million to secured against their ground?) How the hell are they going to pay all that off if they go into admin? It won't be the easy fix like we had.
  16. Good as well because it gets that **** Bolton chairman off the top table.
  17. I will have to strongly disagree with you there. Them not working together is one of our key areas of weakness.
  18. I know little about the NFL but my dislike for George has actually inspired me to research this a bit, hoping to see a Saints loss.
  19. I think everyone can agree that the Chinese not taking into account his mental state is very wrong.
  20. I genuinely wonder about the mental state of some posters on here. I'm just glad that I don't meet these people in real life.
  21. TBF TDD I think sometimes you deliberately seek to hold the opposite view of the majority. It can get quite tiresome at times (not saying you do that with every view you hold.)
  22. Good. I think he has been toilet recently. We can afford better.
  23. FFS I hate radio commentary.
