Which is of course my point. No one is saying that people who I disagree with should stop posting. I regularly enjoy reading contributions from the likes of nickh and franks cousin (when I can stay awake) . It's the provocative language (mcmoneymee, calling people cancers and abusive pms to name but a few). It just confuses me because by defending 19c weston is also defending the bad side of his behaviour and that doesn't seem like something weston would do

As a sensible poster Weston I am curious to know why you defend 19C so vehemently sometimes on here. I just don't get it. He doesn't half spout some bizarre (and often vitriolic) tosh yet you're always so quick to jump in and defend him. Fair enough when he posts something worth reading but the majority of the time it's just nonsense.

Many people on here have stated that he has written a number of cheques over the past few weeks to keep the club afloat. This has included people who are not his biggest fan and also people outside of here who I have spoken to. I knew if I said this you would have said "well you have no proof". Well we know he has given 50k because he said so on the radio. I believe he has given more over the past few weeks but you can believe what you like.

We should storm the directors box and place him in the stocks at half time. Charge people to lob things at him. Could we then say that Rupert has saved the club? (judging by that punchaface website we would make more than enough to get us champions league football by 2011!)

No he didn't. He was never in a position (apart from a very short period) where he could do anything about transfers.

Well seeing as he has been bankrolling the club the last few weeks and without him you wouldn't currently have a club to discuss, I think your comments are a dam cheek to be perfectly honest. Yes Crouch has his flaws but at least he is showing he cares by putting his hand in his pocket. If Lowe did the same then I wouldn't mind him coming to games. He never would though and IMO is scum. Personally I wouldn't want the club hanging on and using fans funds to keep us alive. I would prefer them to set a date and if no one wants us by then so be it and any monies raised can be put towards the rebuilding in the lower leagues

Erm except that fans are donating their money to keep the club alive for an unspecified amount of time. Hypothetically the administrator could just use the fan money to extend the period before liquidation with only the very remotest chance of a takeover. The club then goes into liquidation later than it should have with a load of money wasted

Why has there not been a deadline set for when enough is enough and we fold? Surely this would make everyone clearer on where we stand (including the fans). The deadline keeps being extended to some vague time in the near future. The only reason I can think they are doing this is because they are close to tying up a deal with a party but this ambiguity is doing no one any favours
