Portsmouth's new owner Ali Al-Faraj is courting fresh investors for his consortium, it has been revealed.
The People says two Israeli millionaires are vying to become part of the consortium and there could also be involvement from an Arab royal family.
Very little is known about the rest of the Al-Faraj group, but insiders suggest two well-known Israelis, who tried to buy into English clubs before, are on the fringes of the consortium.
The Al-Faraj family also have two links through marriage with the Saudi royal family, with hints that this is where his extra funds are coming from.
An insider said: "The Saudis are very private people. They don't want publicity about their wealth or who they are. It is the same with the owners of Manchester City."
