Fair enough but I think in the past you have been guilty of not getting your views accross particularly well. The way you have repeated that point has made it look like you are not supportive of the new regime. I can accept though that this is not how you meant it. I don't want to be associated with OB either. I don't agree with his views generally and I don't think there is any problem with this thread.

Well Cortese is looking at it. If he believes there is a value in doing it which outweighs the potential costs then it is going to happen.

I think it is more the fact that you have brought it up many many many times. Once Bitterne is totally correct in that the ownership has not actually changed much from what it was before.

I think people wanted to show their appreciation. The atmosphere in the room was really good actually and made a refreshing change. The two idiots aside it was really good.

Oh yeah McMillan wanted to change the price of a pint of guinness. Having said that I thought that bit was quite amusing. It was all the other rubbish that made no sense.

It would only appeal to certain people. I think with the economy how it is at the moment it would put people off and many people don't like investing in football. Many people don't mind paying extra for the premiership title. I think ML can see how much more rewarding it is to build up a big club which has fallen on hard times. For the price I think we were unique in this way.

Everyone was asked whether they thought that 5 years was a reasonable time for promotion to the premiership and everyone said yes except McMillan who went off on some diatribe about how Southampton is a massive club and how Yoevil looked at us in awe when they came here. He really was a numpty. Some people also went on about how long they had been a season ticket for. How is that relevant to any question? It just ate into the precious time we had and irritated me.

May well have. I can see the attraction though. The potential is great and was the biggest bargain for any football club at the price.

Nope. Cortese said this evening that he heard about it and bought it to ML's attention and he was sold immediately.

Well it is something they are looking into. I'm sure they could be persuaded eventually.
