Oh yeah McMillan wanted to change the price of a pint of guinness. Having said that I thought that bit was quite amusing. It was all the other rubbish that made no sense.

It would only appeal to certain people. I think with the economy how it is at the moment it would put people off and many people don't like investing in football. Many people don't mind paying extra for the premiership title. I think ML can see how much more rewarding it is to build up a big club which has fallen on hard times. For the price I think we were unique in this way.

Everyone was asked whether they thought that 5 years was a reasonable time for promotion to the premiership and everyone said yes except McMillan who went off on some diatribe about how Southampton is a massive club and how Yoevil looked at us in awe when they came here. He really was a numpty. Some people also went on about how long they had been a season ticket for. How is that relevant to any question? It just ate into the precious time we had and irritated me.

May well have. I can see the attraction though. The potential is great and was the biggest bargain for any football club at the price.

Nope. Cortese said this evening that he heard about it and bought it to ML's attention and he was sold immediately.

Well it is something they are looking into. I'm sure they could be persuaded eventually.

Pardew says that he's basically on pay as you play so he needs to get fit.

When Pardew has finished talking about how he would have no problems with a director of football the bloke shouted "Just stay with Pardew." I cringed.

I spoke to Cortese after the forum about the Itchen North. He said that ultimately it would depend on fan numbers but that having the away and home fans together on one end was a strange thing for them and that it was something they were looking at. What would people think about having the Northam home fans only?

I would presume it was a judgement call. The administrator was getting desperate and pumped for the one who was hanging out with MLT in the hope that it would happen. He chose the wrong one clearly.

It was Cortese who heard about it and then told him.

that was brilliant. I just left and feel really positive now (ignoring the idiot at the front and the back).
