It was obvious that no matter what Obama did it would end up like this. People raised expectations so much, he was viewed like the saviour, an image which was only ever going to get tarnished once people realised that he wasn't superhuman and that he can only do so much. I think some Americans think it's just like the movies. Many Americans don't deserve a president like Obama. I wish he was the British Prime Minister...

Well not really, he's actually made a fair bit of progress but was never ever going to live up to the unrealistic expectations of the more brain dead amongst the American population.

BB's have real problems transferring things via bluetooth. This can be a real pain when attempting to transfer a file from the blackberry to a PC or mac. Lot of good points to a blackberry though I just think they can be a little fiddly at times. RIM has certainly improved over the last couple of years though. Their advertising and marketing is top notch. Blackberry messenger is also very good, though I found out last month that there is the same thing available for nokia now.

I just don't like touchscreen phones. I've had an iphone but I prefer physical keys. I can type things without looking which can be useful too. Iphones are great though which is why I have an ipod touch. My camera on the N86 is brilliant too.

He's 25 today! I know a Coventry season ticket holder and he is bemused as to why he is not in the team. I don't rate Coleman anyway so I don't consider him a great judge of a player. Most Coventry fans I have spoken to consider him their best defender.

That point is irrelevant. He is a CCC defender and from many accounts a half decent one.

No one has written him off. They are commenting on the available evidence and what has happened so far.

Of course I'm not writing him off. I'm just voicing my initial reservations (reservations which appear to maybe have some foundation based on the first game.) I really hope he comes good but everything I have read and seen including reaction from fans of all the clubs concerned (including their football playing records)suggests that Ward is the superior player.

Not really. As I said I was accused of being happy clappy and deluded a few weeks ago. I'm genuinely a very positive person, I just don't see the sense in signing Seaborne over a clearly superior player. Other people have agreed with me so it isn't just me.

It's a f*ckin stupid decision the more I think about it. Ok seaborne is young and we are 'buying potential' but Ward is still young himself at 24 and a decent championship defender by all accounts. We had the chance to get a rock solid defence with a back four that would look good in the CCC and we haven't taken it. I'll get abused now for not giving the new guy a chance but IMO every signing should be looking to improve what we have and I'm not sure that is the case here.
