Finally somone who speaks sense Seriously though, my reaction is the same as someone being majorly excited by a new signing they have hardly seen. I can only go on the evidence we have, that is the other fans on the exeter forum and the evidence I saw from the boxing day game. He might turn out to be brilliant but for now I am giving my reaction on the evidence available. When we are linked with quality championship defenders like Ward, this APPEARS to be a step down and is a little disappointing. With the signing of fonte I was expecting signings of a similar stature. Seaborne could well turn out to be even better than him but the initial evidence suggests not.

So I'm the ONLY person who has expressed indifference or disappointment on this thread? Get a grip.

Which I would prefer to give Mills a chance.

He was terrible when he played down here.

Mills did well for S****horpe. I just think there are quite a few other areas where we needed to strengthen before leftback. I would like to have seen Mills be given a chance before bringing someone in.

I would have played Mills LB to give Harding a rest. I accept he could be backup for Jaidi I'm just a bit deflated that Ward is likely to not be signing now after thinking he was last night.

I think people are disappointed that we seem to have missed out on Ward. I also think there were other areas that needed strengthening before this signing and it seems odd to me that we've gone for it considering the options we already have in defence.

Well if he's much better then Fonte Jaidi or Harding I would be amazed.
