Meeting Thurs 23rd with Trust, SISA, Saveoursaints, 2 MPs, LM and MC
hypochondriac replied to derry's topic in The Saints
Wow now I am really confused. I only support the people who are collecting pledges and money for if the club goes under or if nobody else comes forward. Can someone put a sticky on this site to outline exactly which organisation that is? There's too many groups wanting different things. -

No allegedly about it. He PM'd me when I alluded to who he was in December 2007. (even wished me a happy christmas!) I don't think he was trying to oust Lowe though, it was when he was talking about plans etc after he had left the board. (Plans like developing Jackson's Farm etc.) -

It's the name that Michael Wilde used to post on here secretly for about 2 years. -

FC sometimes you are rather quick to jump on people. Derry has now said that their intentions are for the fans to own the club not as a last resort. Do you support it now? -

Then they are fools and I will fight and oppose them all the way. -
Crouch says: It cannot be the case that Southampton FC ceases to exist and fans are left saying "If only I knew how serious it was…!" But we don't know how serious it is! Nobody has said how much we need to raise and by what date and where the money will be going. If there was some sort of consistent message then it would be ten times easier to get tings organised.

I just don't understand why The Trust feel it should be done in their name. Do they want the kudos of helping the club? People associate the Trust with having agendas and self interest and for that reason it should be given a different name and kept separate from the Trust. -

At least the fans Parliament idea is dead in the water... -

But that isn't the choice though. The Trust can be involved by all means if it helps to get funds but why unite under "The Trust" banner when it is obvious that this is going to turn large amounts of people off? It's mostly because people will believe that the people involved from th Trust are doing it for themselves and not for the benefit of the club (I'm honestly not sure I could stomach the trust owning the club myself.) -
Fair enough mate your opinion. Technically it wasn't much kop though and nothing special compared to hundreds of people I hear sing. Now paul potts he had a really really good voice

How on earth does anyone other than the administrator know that a deal is not imminent
-
Would be dead funny if it did happen though.
-
Bit unfair CB. You're normally a pretty fair chap who I agree with but supposing that no one comes into buy us, won't it be better to get the fans in than cease to exist?
-
If she had had some training from an early age she could have been a much better prospect. Having said that she's not a patch on professional singers. Just go to most West End shows (in fact go and watch Les Mis to see it done a thousand times better.) Hope she wins though because it is a good story.
-
But of course absolutely no evidence to back that up. Quelle surprise.

Serious error of judgement ringing Chorley.
-
Hmm. How many clubs did he leave in financial difficulty? Every one?
-
Certainly not IMO.
-
Why? He found something on a rival forum and posted it for everyone to see. Well done Beer Engine, it's interesting even if it turns out to be rubbish.

Anyone know somewhere cheaper than rutland square hotel for 4 adults?
-
The reason that she got the attention that she did is because she seems like the sort of person who has no talent and would be laughed at. The surprise and shock you experience when she starts singing is the main reason for the intrigue and popularity
-
Good voice certainly but not awesome at all. I have singing qualifications which make me eligible to teach and there is a lot wrong with her voice. As I said a good voice but generally unremarkable and there our hundreds of people I hear all the time who are markedly better. If she looked like everyone else she wouldn't have a hope of winning
