For me he doesn't have the power to dictate a point like rafa (nadal is wonderful at turning defense into attack in one shot.) nor does he have the shotmaking ability of fed. He is however fantastic at reading shots. He plays defensively because it will beat a lot of players. Please don't patronise me. I watch a lot of tennis and in my opinion a lot of the games he plays are incredibly defensive. Nadal and federer are on a different level especially in the slams. He will probably win 1 in the next 5 years but I still find him dull in comparison to others

I don't like Murray because I think most of his tennis is too negative. Absolutely nothing like watching Federer and Nadal (and as of today Verdasco!)

There couldn't have been a better scenario with regards to that games result, therefore it is a good result. How good it is depends upon what we do but it doesn't mean it is suddenly a bad result does it!

All good points Bobby but I don't wish to clog up the board. Have to say though it's a pleasure to be able to debate things in a sensible manner. Apologies if I came across in any way confrontational though. With regards my misguided comment, it was mainly because I felt you were writing it off before it had even begun. I'm under no illusions and I realise that it could descend into angry nonsense but I have faith that there will be a lot of like-minded saints fans who just want to send a message to the outside world (and hopefully to those in charge.) After all what's the alternative? Get drunk and depressed? Punch other fans in the stands? There's a chance that this could actually be really constructive and I'm going to go along with an open mind. I hope I'm not let down!

Mate you don't want the laptop. It's terrible. TBH I'm revising my opinion. I'm going to put everything on freecycle bar the printers and scanners. Everything else people can take their pick.

Most of the computers and things are old but some of the scanners and printers are pretty good. Basically I'm inviting people to come and help themselves and maybe donate a few quid for goodwill. I live in Shirley so you'll have to come pick it up yourself if it is of any interest to you.
