I'd say it would be a sad state of affairs if the person we are relying on the most to score goals is AA given his previous record in this division. When we've done well previously we've had at least one and sometimes two stars who we know can reliably stick the ball in the net. Lambert, Rodriguez, Pelle, Gabbiadini to a lesser extent, Broja with his vein of form and Ings. Who do we have now? My fears may be unfounded but we need more for the attack imo.

You also get it the other way though where loads of people say they deserved it or they're happy they died because they were rich. Indeed. Personally I'd like us to structure some deals like that. Keeps us within FFP rules and means we might be able to afford a higher class of player. Dare I say it maybe we'd be interested in structuring the Ramsdale deal in a similar fashion - although his no doubt higher wages would be an issue I'm sure.

It's about staying up this year. Yes he's not worth that but he's probably worth that to them if they stay up. Will be interesting to see how he does.

Suggestion I saw is unlikely to be reduced as they tried to fight it. I also saw that it was two charges so possibly more than 6 as its a higher loss than others.

That's a different argument though. If your argument is that we will need to spend more so that our net spend will be significantly higher after sales and that we are quite high favourites to go down then I agree.

We have multiple millions coming in this year. A ten million net spend is not spending millions we don't have.

Spent money we don't have? If we sold all those you're suggesting then we have only spent ten million net this summer which is relatively little.

I don't think he will be back but if he did come back a loan with obligation to buy if we stay up makes sense for all parties surely?

What about if we signed targett in addition to the other signings we needed? Someone like Fernandes looks to me like a decent signing but whether he's a good one for us or not will depend on who we get for the other positions that we need more
