I know we know this but Dibling is just brilliant. I really want him and Lallana on the pitch together in a league game
-
At least it was a positive run from him. Good to see.
-
You were saying...
-
If we do go down I wonder if he will be a starter next year.
-
Well we've got Stephens out for a while. Maybe he's trying to get the other weak link out for Saturday.
-
Is it just me who thinks Bree is quite a solid player? Nothing spectacular but he can do a job in the squad. Looks less out of his depth than many of the others.

Yes for a team that plays in the complete opposite way to us. He's not a strong passer as far as I can see and doesn't suit our style at all. I can't see why we have signed him he looks out of place.
-
Nothing I have ever seen from Diaz has convinced me that he is anything other than a complete carthorse in the prem.
-
That's fine as long as he doesn't play a key player here and then not stary him on Saturday with the reason being that he needs a rest from midweek which is what he did during the last round.
-
You'd be better off caring less about a league Cup game and just treating it as a good chance to see some promising glimpses from some players and taking the positives regardless of the result. It's a lot more enjoyable that way.
-
I certainly wouldn't be bringing on Dibling if he was tired with cramp on Saturday. We need him at the weekend.
-
Because this game doesn't really matter and we need to play him to hope he maybe gets a goal and it increases his confidence?
-
Fraser looks good today. I'm glad we have him this year, I think we need his fighting spirit.
-
Atmosphere mostly crap here. Birmingham Wrexham last night sounded incredible by comparison.
-
Indeed but there's more than two choices! I'm not sure why Martin believes this is the correct way to play football. It's crap.
-
And he's proud of it too! Even when it works it's a shocking watch.
-
I felt a level of concern during that preseason game where he was shocking.
-
A pretty frustrating half that is similar to a lot of our games this year. Loads and loads of possession and very little to show for it.
-
Wood is such a limited player. Typical championship.
-
If we're getting limited time from a 36 year old Lallana, I don't see the benefit in playing him in a nothing game like this. Would much rather give him 60 minutes against Ipswich alongside Dibling.
-
That's all speculation. A top man manager would get the player to understand he's here until January and if he performs well until then he can go to a top team for big money.
-
And even in that short cameo he was the best cb in that game. Seems an odd move not to try him.
-
Well he played in the last round so what harm would there have been giving him a chance a half in this game to see if he's up to it? If he's better than our other cb options then he should play.
-
Agreed but I'm not qualified as a judge to make those judgements. Apparently other factors were to do with how his dad treated him, living in Wales and having gone to Cardiff uni and feeling inadequate compared to everyone in the bbc who went to Oxford.

No one seriously thinks wood and Edwards are good enough to play in the prem.
