It's a bit silly that followers don't really know any of the players or what the team needs. I haven't followed it particularly closely but it seems like there's been a load of upheaval over the summer and quite a few players unhappy and then the season just starts with little preview or idea of who all these new players are. If someone does follow it regularly I would imagine it's quite frustrating and probably contributes to the low crowds.

The fact there isn't much to say a number of weeks later is itself news.

I agree this would be a nice thing to do. I see a lot of these requests nowadays, is it a new thing? Maybe the club should do something via an official channel to make it easier to organise.

I do t think that's true at all. I don't want Martin to leave as yet and he deserves to prove he can make necessary changes, but bringing someone else in does not equal certain relegation.

I agree it was really interesting. I'll certainly be watching to see how narrow our centre backs are going forward as it seems a lot of our problems stem from that. Also interesting how he thought that Harwood Bellis wasn't totally to blame for his poor performance and that it was receiving hospital passes from Stephens that caused a few of the problems we had. As he points out our shape is all wrong and it puts us under so much unnecessary pressure as well as giving us few options when we do get forward.

Honestly I don't think we could have justified spending on greaves given our outlay on THB. Delap chose Ipswich over us so we obviously pushed for him - and I'm not sure he's worth 20 million. Clarke agreed I would have liked him but then Martin said we had other priorities which tbf we probably did. Not sure Whottaker is a better option than Cornet and we'd just have had the problem of no prem experience again. At least Cornet has performed in this league before. Agree with your last paragraph. It's only victim blaming if I agree with your assessment that you receive personal abuse simply for stating an opinion about the team. If that's all you were doing the I'd admit it's not on. As I said though I believe it's the manner of your posting that's rillng people.

I think one big problem we had is that we are a newly promoted side so lots of people would not have wanted to join us. Yes we spent money but the question is whether we could have got other targets who actually wanted to join us. I think we would have majorly struggled to get any improvements on Sugawara, Downes, big Les, Ramsdale and probably Fernandes though he's unproven. That's why it's quite difficult to rate the transfer window. I suppose you could compare us to Ipswich but the argument there is they had more leeway in their squad. I definitely think attack is a rather obvious weakness still and we could look back and wonder why we went for BBD and Archer but again I couldn't see many attacking options available who would want to come here. Regarding your starting 11, you can't expect anyone to take you seriously if you've put Manning in there. He was a liability in the championship.

No I'd say your post that those who disagree with you do so because they object to people who use long words and the implication of that that they are thick, says a lot about how you view people who disagree with you. It certainly appears to be the case. I thought he may be a bit more effective in this system but if anything he looks worse so far- albeit it has only been three games.

Will be interesting to see who we have next year if relegated. At a guess: Bazunu Bree Wood/Stephens Edwards Taylor Charles Smallbone Aribo Armstrong Lallana BBD Archer? Pretty good championship team there with maybe strengthening needed in midfield.
