  1. So because they don't want to be stared at they're happy to go and intimidate and potentially upset women in a women only space? Biological men should understand who and what they are and stay out of women's spaces. That might mean that they experience a bit of discomfort when changing with other biological men but that doesn't mean they can just override women's rights.
  2. It's about enforcing a social stigma. If you've got a penis and you're changing in the women's changing rooms then you should feel shame and be wary in case you're openly challenged and told to leave. Yes there maybe some borderline cases but that's better than some situations now where blokes in a dress are openly intimidating women.
  3. Obviously it wouldn't be on your list of priorities but then you're a man and probably not a father to a young girl I would assume.
  4. Yes I'm pretty sure his contract was leaked. Whatever it was it was obscene considering our financial situation at the time.
  5. I'm happy to lay a significant bet that we won't be getting relegated.
  6. Even if that were true which it isn't, we shouldn't have too much trouble recruiting more than enough quality for the division we are now in. Our main issue last season was a lack of experience in the squad and a confused style of play along with some players who didn't suit how we wanted to play. We actually had quite a lot of quality individuals (hence why so many are in demand) we just had little squad depth and we couldn't fashion the players we did haveinto a successful team. With Martin we should have a recognised style of play from the start and hopefully enough financial resources to purchase players who suit that style. It should be much more cohesive at the very least even if it ultimately isn't successful.
  7. Because our resources are tiny for the prem and it's a much smaller pool of players who can do a job in the top league. We could most likely buy almost any player from the 2nd and 3rd divisions if we really wanted to. You'd have to really fail to not make the playoffs.
  8. We had Jason euell on 15k a week.
  9. Sounds like we pretty much agree. I don't think we should leave it to the third year either but we do have to at least entertain the possibility that we don't manage promotion in the first two years. We can't just go mental banking on promotion by year 2.
  10. He's definitely going.
  11. It would be terrible planning to blow our wad this year in an effort to go up. Far more likely that we will have a two or three year plan for promotion where we aim for it in the first year but keep a fair bit in reserve for subsequent efforts.
  12. I'd love it if he stayed. Would probably be the best on his position I the championship or certainly up there.
  13. I think it's a reasonable fee to receive under the circumstances we are in when a team in the Champions league comes calling. Reportedly now we want 30 and they've bid 15. It won't shock me in the slightest if he goes for the number I said.
  14. Yep and it's been reported in a few other places as well. So people are shitting themselves over nothing really. He will almost certainly go to Newcastle if they really want him but he's not going to go for a pittance. Hopefully not with Ryan fraser either...
  15. Seems like a good bloke. Was crap for us though. Maybe league one will be his level and give him a chance with more of a blank slate. He will get abuse at fratton for sure.
  16. We won't be selling everyone, I said that loads of times yesterday. I do think we will sell quite a few for the simple fact that they will want to go and we need to sell some due to the revenue drop and maybe if they don't suit the style we want to play.
  17. Again, where has it been reported that we are going to sell him for 12 million? 20-25 million is probably about right for a club in our situation. We would have got more had we stayed up but that's life.
  18. If we sell kwp and Tino we will obviously get someone else in.
  19. There's a worrying amount of people who haven't yet accepted we are a championship club. I think it was only when we got into league 1 last time that many realised where we were in the hierarchy. Relegation can be healthy because it removes this sense of entitlement that builds up the longer you stay in the prem. If we don't go up in the next year or two then teams like Bournemouth and Brentford can simply pick our carcass for whoever they fancy.
  20. We didn't have a clear financial advantage last season. Finding good championship players is a heck of a lot easier. Even average recruitment should see us perform well.
  21. I wonder how many of the fans frothing at the mouth on here and twitter at the prospect of selling Tino for less than £35 million were around the last time we went down (my guess is very few.) Let's be very grateful that we have so many sellable assets this time around and will likely make many millions which should give us a clear advantage over pretty much every other team.
  22. OK mate. When he inevitably leaves for less than 30 million try not to be too upset.
  23. Thats not really how it works. Champions league club wants him which we would struggle to prevent even if we were still in the prem. Some of our fans need to realise where we are now and where we sit in the pecking order. My prediction is 20-25 million which will be a reasonable price.
  24. Saying no way should we sell for less than 35 is deluded for Tino given our championship status and his recent injury. He could possibly sell for that amount (he won't) but if you're saying its 35 and above or nothing then you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
  25. Sorry mate but you're slightly deluded. There's no way we will get that sort of cash for him. We're officially a championship club now and you just don't get those amounts.
