  1. I thought nobody cared though? I thought there was no pressure whatsoever on those who choose not to do it? Could you not imagine there are some players who see things like this and then think they don't want to be publically questioned in that manner so just do it for a quiet life?
  2. Indeed. It does seem to be a certain middle class demographic group who are the keenest to support this and they aren't black. I still don't know what an anti racist is either and how it differs from 99% of the population who don't discriminate based on skin colour.
  3. He's repeated the same post about 5 times and keeps going because he didn't get the response he wanted. His attempts to call everyone racist is losing its effect.
  4. So you've given up the pretence that you have anyone on ignore then?
  5. You won't be seeing any replies though because you have everyone on ignore? Also how do you define if someone is anti racist?
  6. Why do you keep mentioning Marxists? I haven't seen anyone else using that word. It's odd.
  7. Still pretending you have us on ignore whilst reacting to all of our posts with smiley faces?
  8. Considering its mid season and he's just signed a contract, I'd take 60 million for him.
  9. Yes and look why he had to do when he decided not to. Basically a press conference and extensive articles written insinuating that he should have been talking to his team mates before reaching the decision and his manager was questioned on it extensively. So it wasn't the case at all that no one cared.
  10. Which individual white player in the Premier league has not knelt when the majority have?
  11. What white footballers have publically gone against the consensus of their team and not taken the knee and no one has cared?
  12. I was told that it was not true when I said that two professional footballers had said to my face that they don't really want to take the knee but that they did it to avoid any dramas. We have now seen what happens when a white sports person publically expresses their opposition to kneeling. It will have been noted by others I'm sure.
  13. Where have I tarnished anyone? We were told by the experts on here that taking the knee was a voluntary gesture, that no one was compelled to do so and that nobody cared if someone didn't do it. Clearly that's nonsense.
  14. Alternatively, he's been put under real pressure for not taking a knee that lots of people on here were told was a voluntary gesture and now he has u turned lest his international career be over.
  15. It was the rate at which they were required to do so that was the contentious bit. It sounds like infrastructure improvements are something that is needed so hopefully that will happen. Given the lack of current alternative, the least worst option right now is to continue putting some into rivers unless people want it running through the streets.
  16. Yes and like I said on the face of it that seems like something they should have done. Given that they haven't as yet done that and the infrastructure is what it is, what has the Lords amendment got to do with it?
  17. I think it is the case that the vast majority of trans people are exactly like that and just want to live their lives in a way that makes them happy. It's a real shame that the small handful of activists and lunatics ruin it for everyone.
  18. Why should he be forced to explain why he doesn't want to make the gesture? If - as many were suggesting - it was an entirely voluntary thing then he should be under no obligation to explain anything. The issue is not what happened during the first game but that following that game, cricket South Africa basically demanded that everyone submit and take the knee.
  19. I still haven't been fully convinced by our first team lineup this season and I think we could benefit if some of the players who played last night started in some of the league games. Our team should feature kwp, Diallo, possibly Lyanco, possibly forster and Stuart Armstrong.
  20. You shouldn't make assumptions.
  21. I'm multitasking
  22. Or it feels like a need initially. Kind of like how Kiera Bell felt it was a need but then changed her mind after the damage had already been done.
  23. Great to see Smallbone do well.
  24. The Lords amendment had nothing to do with how much a private company has spent on infrastructure.
  25. If we lose from here then Ralph is going to get pelters for those subs.
