  1. I'd have a not up to speed Sulemana over our other options any day of the week.
  2. Blackmore asked him a leading question. There was nothing wrong with what he said.
  3. I must have missed that. What did he say? I'd be very surprised if he didn't start the new signings.
  4. I think that will be very close but he simply has to play Lavia over Diallo.
  5. I already answered that. I wasn't expecting him to outline in detail precisely what he was planning but there's a level of detail in between outlining the minutiae of our performance and repeating "front footed and aggressive" at every press conference. It makes him look a bit thick quite frankly.
  6. Absolutely nothing wrong with what he's said, everyone is picking up on everything he says now and looking for signs of incompetence.
  7. Absolutely and I wouldn't expect him to provide everything. An overview of the types of things we would be looking to combat from wolves and an idea that he knows them as a team and their key attributes to be wary of would give more confidence that he actually knows what he's talking about to the required detail to be a Premier league manager.
  8. That's because your feelings from the last game have subsided. See how sorry for him you feel at 5pm on Saturday.
  9. Welsh?
  10. I don't think career achievements are necessarily a sign of intelligence.
  11. I'm be fascinated to know what Ankerson sees behind the scenes to give him confidence that he has the required tactical knowledge and skill level for a job in the Premier league. If he's doing it in training he certainly can't seem to articulate in a press conference or anywhere else.
  12. I think it's really unfair to criticise him for this. Aggression stats are definitely much higher now than at any other point this year. Particularly amongst the fans and we may be seeing record levels of aggression at 5pm on Saturday.
  13. I think if we're honest after everything that happened last week that press conference was about as good as he could have expected it to be. It will all be an irrelevance whatever he said or did in it if we lose on Saturday. It really is all about results for him now. We already know his difficiencies as a communicator and his abrasive personality. He must know that he has to win on Saturday.
  14. Just watched the press conference. One issue is when he's asked how he we will look to counter Wolves specifically. He just says by being front footed, aggressive and potent. That's basically the same answer he gives every week so then not really anythibg unique about our preparations this week to counter wolves. He does come across like he's a very basic tactician without a Premier league level knowledge of tactics.
  15. Definitely had some strong words about his presentation. Clearly been told to take responsibility.
  16. Tbf there's not really much he could say in this press conference that would be acceptable. He already shit the bed last week. This conference is just about using some wet wipes to try to mop bits of it up.
  17. Very good.
  18. We were shit under Ralph at the end. We are worse now.
  19. We know because the enlightened man of God used his linguistic talents to call a Spaniard a son of a bitch in his native tongue.
  20. Whe is you say it out loud it sounds even more moronic. What possible reason is there to not at least have him o the the bench and give him a chance over someone who is a proven failure.
  21. Wow. That's more impressive in less than 2 minutes than anything I've seen from Jones. Lucky Burnley.
  22. A fan base giving an initial impression of not wanting a manager is not the same as that same fan base not giving him a chance, as proven when poch came in and the majority of the fan base didn't want him yet gave him a chance to show what he can do. Jones has had that same chance and we've actually got worse which was almost impossible from where we were.
  23. Oh god. I'm seeing some maximum cringe chants for Saturday on twitter. There are no words for some of our fans.
  24. No it doesn't. Half the fan base saying they didn't want him to be the manager doesn't mean that they're all being personally insulting or that they want him to fail. It's an Initial impression based on his interviews, his background and his previous record. Probably more of the fanbase would have answered no in that poll about Poch when he first arrived but he immediately got fans on board with his actions. The same cannot be said for Jones at all and it isn't the fan's fault that he has deficiencies. Every fan base would be the same in our position and that's proven by the reaction of pundits and those outside the club in the last week.
  25. If you've got some examples of multiple posters definitively writing him off before we've played the first I'd be interested to see it. Let's not rewrite history.
