I think I could handle things better if we were just shite. What's so infuriating is that we obviously have a bit about us when we play a bit of football and look dangerous. It makes it so much more disappointing when we inevitably toss it away by refusing to adapt during a game and allowing another team to get on top and see things out. Without ings to grab a game by the scruff of the neck I fear for us. Experience at the back or the middle of the park badly needed to avoid relegation imo.

Well he's got what he wanted hasn't he. No doubt he will be back on saying it was all a big joke but as someone with a young child myself I don't find making light of this situation particularly big or clever. He's a sad and pathetic old man living in his 99% white leafy neighbourhood, getting his hair cut by Muhammed, his shoes shined by Raheem and thinking he can lecture everyone else about the correct way to live and what is morally acceptable. Yep the Internet certainly doesn't help. This bloke deserves nothing but contempt but it's worth remembering that there are other blokes going through similar that need support and saving before they go down similarly destructive paths.

The best thing is that during this entire thread I haven't said I had a problem with rainbow shirts or that I was angry or upset by them. It's interesting to see some of the abusive or insulting responses from people who read that regardless. I think you've simply misunderstood what I was saying. I wasn't commenting on rainbow shirts, I was lamenting the fact that the poster I was replying to primarily wanted campaigns such as this in order to annoy people they disagreed with. I was pointing out that it is that attitude that leads to more division and does nothing to reduce levels of bigotry and discrimination.
