Seems like a pretty stupid thing to do.
-
Indeed but calling someone racist without evidence is a pretty disgusting thing to do.
-
Calling people racist is a pretty despicable and nasty thing to do so I agree with you there are some proper shit human beings on this site.

Another few dead terrorists and mass murderers. Cry more.

Alternative tactics has really brought the war to an end swiftly and got all the hostages back. I bet if the Hamas general could look at things now he would have released the remaining hostages sooner. If he wasn't blown to bits.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Right but if someone takes an issue with a policy - friends I have for example who sacrificed a lot to send their children to private school who have really found things difficult with the sudden Vat rise -that's not really something to mock or suggest they aren't deserving of some empathy. Yes their initial position could be viewed as privileged but it doesn't mean they don't have real world concerns like anyone else. Thays just one example by the way , it's the same for things like farmers with some genuinely fretting about how they will continue to operate their farm without packing it in. -

As much as I like you on here, you do come across to me as someone who has a dislike of people with wealth. -
They might have killed all the leaders in Qatar. Boom! Fuck around and find out losers. Great success.

I think a lot of people more on the right are happy to provide a level of assistance for those who really need it. What they don't want is people taking advantage of that generosity and taking the piss. There's also a British sense of fair play and it offends many that people can jump the queue, particularly if they perceive people who have just arrived here being given benefits that they or their relatives do not. A lot of our welfare and universal health care were designed decades ago when we didn't have ridiculous amounts of people generally. What we offer needs a rethink unless you want massively high taxes to pay for it all which I don't think the majority would prefer. -
I wasn't comparing political parties. I simply said that there are some crazy loons in both political parties with fringe views and I find it odd that sane Brits could support them. It seems that some are indignant that I'd said that but I don't see much challenge that what I posted does amount to some looney and quite fringe views so what I said was correct.

Well done. It's still proscribed and you're still getting locked up for supporting it and you've achieved a few lines discussing it on a web forum. Well worth getting arrested for.
-
It's achieved nothing other than getting a few wallies arrested. They can keep doing it and keep getting arrested and eventually probably end up with a criminal record like the numpties in extinction rebellion.
-
Fine. They are free to do one and not the other. If you support a proscribed organisation you know it will likely lead to your arrest. If I go to protests with signs supporting patriotic alternative because I disagree with their designation then I'd expect to be arrested. It doesn't matter how peaceful my protest is.
-
The point is no one is getting arrested for peaceful protest or for protesting Israel. Everyone is still free to do so.
-
I think if an organisation is proscribed and you go out of your way to support that organisation then you know the consequences and can have no complaints. That applies to any organisation of that type. Blame the people who took the actions that got it proscribed. No reason at all that you can't protest without openly supporting a proscribed organisation.
-
So the answer is they weren't arrested for peacefully protesting. So whether they were peaceful or not is an irrelevance. They were always free to protest peacefully.
-
Slightly odd response. I assume you agree with the other things I'd described as loony? And you agree that scrapping fossil fuels by 2030 is fringe? Arguably abolishing billionaires and guaranteeing jobs for everyone are views not shared by the mainstream.
-
Phasing out fossil fuel use entirely in America by 2030 is a fringe view.
-
Land acknowledgements are batshit mental a few of them have done that. Cori Bush has called for defunding the police which is crazy loon behaviour. AOC also has some pretty fringe views. Loads of them think men should be in women's sport. Point is both parties have some nutters in them.
-
I find it bizarre that any sane person in this country would support either political parties in the US. There are some absolute crazy loons on both sides of the political divide over there, certainly more extreme than anything mainstream we have over here.
-
Seeing that saggy piece of shit there gets my blood boiling. Of all the things Lowe did, letting that prick manage us was the worst.
-
Aren't you the one who routinely says I don't answer questions? Were these people arrested for peacefully protesting, or was it for something else?
-
Why were they arrested? Was it for peaceful protest?
