  1. I think the divide is between people with a MLG mindset who are happy to have every measure taken and everything analysed to a minute degree in order to achieve the "correct" result every time and those who would prefer a tolerance built into the system so that all decisions aren't just left to a machine and the width of a hair follicle.
  2. Whoosh
  3. As the article says, it's an attempt to highjack the conservatives on the same way Momentum have highjacked Labour. It will be concerning if they succeed in getting control of party mechanisms and influencing policy but its going to be futile isn't it and they've already said they reserve the right to cancel memberships where extremists have slipped through the cracks.
  4. Would you be making this same argument about numbers of people if Labour were in the Tory position?
  5. If it were confined to those decisions only then no one would complain. It seems at the moment like the referees are abdicating their responsibilities and it erodes their authority imo because they are compelled to defer most of their decisions to a machine.
  6. They will acknowledge how badly its gone down when it starts to affect them financially. It will have to change and it will just a shame about this sort of thing in the meantime.
  7. All three of them should have been goals tbh.
  8. Be honest, that Norwich offside decision is ridiculous.
  9. It should be clear and obvious. It wasn't clear and it certainly wasn't obvious so the referees decision should stand. Mental to call that offside and var has not got rid of controversy.
  10. Absolute joke. Var is killing football.
  11. The most ridiculous disallowed var goal ever for Brighton. I mean ffs how is that clear and obvious?
  12. Who is the grassroots? Its not momentum.
  13. But his birth is celebrated on that date.
  14. I think at this point I can't see many saints fans being too upset by any of that. We would probably keep some elements of the crest and I personally don't give much of a toss what the stadium is called. I think it's a pretty ****e stadium anyway.
  15. The fact that posters on here keep going on about the world club champions like its a thing is hilarious. It's the most pointless cup ever and not a sign of any quality by any stretch of the imagination.
  16. I think MLG is a Christian in the same way that closeted gays are the most vociferous homo bashers. The lady doth protest too much.
  17. I've never been a fan of little Britain but you also had the office over that period, coupling and the start of peep show. Infinitely better than any UK comedy over the last decade.
  18. Tbf a lot of comedians say similar. Social media and the threat of cancel culture have had a dumbing down effect and its left for superstars from ages ago like dave chapelle or US shows like its always funny in philadelphia to push back against this sort of culture.
  19. Well we can agree there. I know someone who was an itv showrunner for a decade. He said of all the celebs he had ever met cordon was the most entitled and rudest. A complete cockwomble by all accounts.
  20. Bin off Danso, get a cb that can cover lb and a decent rb and we are on to a winner. Cm would be nice too but we can't have everything.
  21. I watched Rob brydon in some stuff once and saw him live and he was pretty funny. Is he any good in it?
  22. RB Southampton would be quite cool
  23. Just suppose Bertrand and soares picked up long term injuries. We would be in the absolute sh*t. A rb minimum would allow us to cover in that eventuality and tbh I'd rather get us someone better than cedric if possible.
  24. The good life is alright for a gentle chuckle. Similar with dad's army. I've always found open all hours and porridge to be dreadfully unfunny.
  25. Cheers ill check it out.
