Random poster on here posted about so called rumours but anyone can say anything. There's nothing concrete at all and they obviously wouldn't do that because it would be admitting abject failure. If they were going to do anything they'd do something like sell Adam Armstrong and cross their fingers that Downs comes good.
-
He's not.
-
I hope Smallbone goes as that will be the key to getting someone else in. My guess: Smallbone, Taylor, Bree and Edozie which means Aribo either staying or going to Turkey later.
-
Is your position that Ramsdale was responsible for as many goals conceded -certainly compared to goals saved -as Bazunu did the previous season?
-
Interesting how few times we discussed that last year. Despite conceding a shedload, hardly any of them were Ramsdale's fault.
-
I could live with just the winger I suppose. Still hoping for one extra.
-
I know absolutely nothing about him. What's he like? Will he be a starter on the left? Will Charlie Taylor be off ?
-
Sounds like an astute bloke! Entirely correct.
-
Cool. Jelert and the we have some free time for a couple of deadline day signings tomorrow
-
OK then. Where has this rumour come from? Presumably you would agree that it is incredibly unlikely?
-
Weren't you the one who said we were going to get three quality loan signings ?
-
I'd expect so. Shame.
-
Particularly if the suggestion was that it had nothing or very little to do with Spors as he was being brought in anyway (not sure how true that is but that was the suggestion from some on here.)
-
At the end of last season if you'd taken a poll I'd guess about 90% of saints fans if they were asked if Ramsdale was sold would we need a new first team keeper would have said yes. I guarantee Bazunu will cost us goals, games and points this year likely more than he will save.
-
Well said. I can't believe I'm going to have to have another whole season of debates after almost every game about which goals Bazunu was at fault for.
-
I wanted a player who could do a good job straight away. He might come good later but that will have already cost us points. Because he isn't up to it currently we have to rely on our other strikers who haven't been good enough either.
-
I know it won't happen. We shouldn't have bought him for that money in the first place but not much we can do now.
-
That would be positive if he's loaned out at least. Can get in a striker who can actually contribute now.
-
Not sure he's had any issues physically that I'm aware of and the pace is slower than the prem. He's unlikely to come anyway but I'd at least ask the question.
-
The league we are in?
-
Right so as I said, we will probably end up having to drop one of them to accommodate him.
-
That's an odd way of looking at it. If they both do so.ilar jobs the what we lack is a player available who can do something else that is required in centre midfield. That's not about coaching it's about the abilities of the pair of them.
-
I think that's up for debate. Both are good players but the main issue is how they operate as a pair and I'm yet to be convinced that they can play together to a high level.
-
It didn't mention anything about birds, ponies or 9 pinters so I'm not sure of its accuracy.
-
I'd feel great. Send him to Ipswich for £20 million, get Romeu on a free, sign that winger and Sargent and win the league.
