  1. What part of his performance in this game do you feel was lacking? Because it seems your opinion is somewhat at odds with most other people who watched the game and thought he played well.
  2. Presumably because a mortgage repayment is a luxury rather that an essential. Otherwise you'd be in a situation where you would ve entitled to higher payments simply because you pay a lot on your mortgage.
  3. Nah I'd give sims this season to see if he can break through more regularly.
  4. Out in force today. Also overweight women in belly tops.
  5. That's slightly more forgivable because I'd never heard of that word until a bunch of hippies started extolling its virtues a few years back.
  6. All I know is ill probably tune into pmqs for the first time in about three years now.
  7. Whatever your stance on Boris, having him in charge is a hell of a lot more interesting than John major in a dress that we've had tmfor the last few years.
  8. People that pronounce hyperbole "hyperbowl".
  9. It's not finalised yet and I'd be surprised if Gareth goes there even though the money is astronomical. He didn't strike me as that sort of player.
  10. Not necessarily. I imagine we are planning for both scenarios. Maybe we will get a loan in but that's better than no one at all. We won't go down this year which is all I care about really as well as having a bash at the cups.
  11. I'm relaxed about it. There's quite a while yet until the end of the window.
  12. We will be buying a cb and then maybe get in a dm before the end of the window. I'll be happy with that.
  13. That's just nice words really with very little evidence thus far to suggest that is the case (and no evidence that he has the funds available to make any improvements.)
  14. About half of them hold pretty extreme views even if they would refer to themselves as moderate.
  15. Staff who know the sickness policy and so are off the exact amount of time before it triggers a disciplinary. Staff who call in sick on a Friday but then go to a Spice Girls concert and stick it all over social media that evening.
  16. Although Carillo has the honour of being the only footballer my wife has ever recognised in a bar in Ocean Village
  17. Depends how you measure worst ever signing then I suppose.
  18. Don't think we have for the money paid.
  19. Lol. How can it be a bit disappointing? It's still open for weeks yet!
  20. "As an article in Forbes points out, the 2015 Women’s World Cup brought in almost $73million, of which the players got 13 per cent. The 2010 men’s World Cup in South Africa made almost $4 billion, of which only nine per cent went to the players. Last year, the men’s World Cup in Russia generated over $6 billion total in revenue but the participating teams shared only $400 million of that – less than seven per cent of the overall revenue. Meanwhile, the 2019 Women’s World Cup made somewhere in the region of $131million, doling out $30million – well over 20 per cent of collected revenue – to the participating teams." So proportionally the woman already make more than their male counterparts.
  21. Yes I had to change it so it goes to latest post rather than last unread.
  22. Poor old downtrodden USA women's footballers. They are the modern day Rosa parks, how can they possibly survive on a mere 48 million for winning the world cup?
  23. Sorry but I don't believe we won't bring in someone in defence.
  24. Haven't fifa trebled the prize money for this world cup with plans to continue to increase it? So how has is the financial situation not being addressed?
