  1. Erm no it isn't. You're a strange fellow.
  2. Not really. A few weeks ago we would have been thrashed whatever team we played and however we set up. Let's trust the new manager and see if he can give us an improved performance with some positives even if we end up losing.
  3. Tough to argue with any of that.
  4. He's like a reverse Samson.
  5. Of course I'm going to take what you said literally. So what your saying is you're seeking a solution that would have a greater backing than 52% of the public? What percentage backing should it receive before it is acceptable to you? You're not going to find one that gets much more than that.
  6. Well that's a silly thing to say. Literally any option we take from now will not be a deal for everyone. There will be massive divisions whatever we end up doing.
  7. Of we did get relegated, romeu is one I'd want to keep.
  8. Yep. I genuinely may not bother to vote at the next election.
  9. Very true but to some weirdos on here that amounts to a mad conspiracy theory.
  10. Mr Rose is a light bulb salesman?
  11. I don't think it will be that bad but I do think there will be severe economic consequences.
  12. Yep. There are obvious downsides to a corbyn government but silly fantasies about giving away the Falklands clearly isn't one of them.
  13. She has to go.
  14. In all seriousness I know quite a few people who voted remain but are apalled by the way democracy is being trampled over.
  15. And they came to this ruling because to deny it goes against the concept of ever closer union. And people called it a mad conspiracy theory that this hasn't been concocted to keep the UK in.
  16. Why would you make any sort of assumption that it's bull****? It's weird that you would jump straight to that possibility.
  17. Odd thing to say.
  18. Can you imagine a few years down the line if these "yellow vests" had tried similar protests? They'd have already sent in the EU "peace" forces to quelll the dissent.
  19. Not enough protection of the defence there. I'd like to see romeu back and in form.
  20. Absolutely. It's the kind of survey that sounds very flawed but also the type of thing that would be latched onto by someone who has a bit of a vague idea about consent but who also wants to deflect about their failings from earlier in the thread.
  21. Bump...
  22. In my opinion the outcome we are currently experiencing was foreseen by many near the start of this process and it's been largely engineered this way. Why else did all these meetings occur between sturgeon, Blair, major, juncker and a load of others? It's politically impossible to leave abd the EU know it.
  23. I think it's clear that Brexit is going to be watered down to the point that it's meaningless or it just won't happen. I think it's quite depressing that the message this sends to the public in Britain but also in every other European country is that it doesn't really matter how you feel about the EU or how dissatisfied you are with parts of it, you won't be allowed to leave it. As you say voting is largely pointless, particularly in our country where one of two parties will be in charge, both of whom have huge problems and neither of whom inspire much more than apathy or active dislike outside of their cheerleaders. The only hope is for some parties to get in during the next EU elections that can try to push through some fundamental change but that seems pretty unlikely to me.
  24. Nah I think many of the people who voted last time did so for the first time ever or the first time in a long time. If they are asked to vote again then loads of them will just tell them to shove it because they had their say and were ignored.
