Almost no one believes that all Muslims are terrorists. There is clearly a connection between Islamic terrorism and Islam. Not sure why this has to keep being repeated.

I think Abbott is a racist whose identity politics does more to divide and upset this country than most other politicians I have seen. I don't hate her personally as I don't know her but I certainly despise the ideology she represents and many of her actions. I don't believe I've ever claimed to hate anyone else on here pal so not sure why you felt the need to add that comment.

Surveillance of well known areas where extremists are developed needs to be improved including inside mosques, we need a zero tolerance approach to any sort of extremism and deportation for non British citizens who have been found guilty of extremism. Any returning fighters from IS should be stripped of their citizenship and removed from the country and I would look into abolishing Islamic only schools. That won't solve the problems but it will be better than the situation we have now where we turn a blind eye to all of this and carry on as normal.

I bought the latest Douglas Murray book- the strange death of Europe - and it's very good and I agree with much of it. The values we hold dear and European western democracy is something worth defending. We need to stand up for our way of life a lot more but it seems that our confidence has been eroded.

That's the major frustration of last year when we had the opportunity to buy some real quality as we also had the attraction of Europe. We were lightweight in too many areas and we didn't do our usual trick of finding a gem or two to polish into a £30 million + player. If we do similar this summer then we won't have the cushion of a VVD to fall back on.

We go through this whole charade every season now with posters saying force the player to stay. The reality is that someone will come in with a mega bid and we won't be able to turn it down. I accepted he was going months ago and it makes it a lot easier to accept. I'm excited to see what replacements we get in, I'm hoping with the money we can upgrade a few positions that suffered in quality last season like a proper Mane replacement, another DM and a Tadic replacement if we sell him too.
