  1. British values???
  2. Whose that then? His supporters?
  3. Reading the comments there are a number of people who feel let down by him and are wondering if this was part of a bigger plan all along. It certainly seems that way with the teaser trailer from earlier in the week. Others feel very pet down and wonder how he can support a labour government who have let the country down just as badly as the Tories in the past.
  4. I've watched most of it because I think he's an interesting bloke even if I mostly disagree with him. This sudden u-turn is hilarious and to me shows his true feelings all along.
  5. I expect he will alienate a number of his followers with that.
  6. I heartily agree with four of them.
  7. My favourite headline from the election was released today: Miliband defends his pledge stone
  8. Did a lookalikie thing with a black woman and someone from planet of the apes...
  9. I already said that. Seems the obvious choice to me.
  10. Amusingly I also have a mutual friend with him on facebook!
  11. Think it may be at the discretion of the mods and depends what it's for. Dune for instance with his planet of the apes thing quite rightly got an immediate ban.
  12. Posters get a two strikes system. First time you get a week ban I believe then it's permanent. I imagine Charlie has been banned before. Almost certainly he is back on now under a different guise.
  13. Labour should have admitted they overspent.
  14. Never ignore. Look on Martins money tips for the template letter to send. It's unenforceable.
  15. I don't believe that the best house a family can afford is 125K. If they have no savings at all then maybe they should be renting instead.
  16. This sort of thing is ill advisable. I am short but thankfully don't wear glasses. As I primarily work with children I very rarely wear a suit for obvious reasons... When I read your posts Lou I always imagine Germaine Greer replying to me.
  17. I don't think there is any way you could ever accuse the BBC of being biased against Labour.
  18. My experience is it's a mix. Some good families do their best and (often foreign) children have nothing through no fault of their own. Other families have their priorities wrong
  19. Done things like that at our nurseries for years so no change there. Pupil premium is a dumb idea though because as usual it doesn't amount to much at all per child and can be used in any way the providers see fit- so whether it helps the children in every case is up for debate.
  20. Pearson really is a gigantic bellend http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32543893
  21. I like you. In a way.
  22. Not really anyone's fault. Unfortunately it's the world's most popular sport and these things are bound to crop up from time to time. Still sad though.
  23. Indeed he would have. They would probably get an outright majority if that were the case.
  24. Rule 1?
  25. Look at all the extreme lefties being embarrassed by their results. Be proud of who you are.
