I just don't see those in charge making a big call like that without waiting longer. I wanted to give him longer a few games ago to see if he could turn it around but there are no signs of that happening at all. Maybe the hierarchy feel similar to the fans but I doubt it.

Absolutely. We should never have sacked puel if we weren't confident that we would get someone better. I definitely think we could have replaced him with a stronger option but that doesn't mean that puel shouldn't have left.

We went down for some beers on 39 minutes and didn't return until 55. Genuinely had a more entertaining time doing that than watching the game. One chance of note with Yoshida but otherwise another abject and dispiriting display. We were very fortunate to win against West brom and wouldn't have if not for some individual brilliance. Surely the new owners won't find this acceptable? Kat has played a blinder and got out at exactly the right time.

Absolute dross. We all stayed in the concourse for almost ten minutes at half time having a chat and finishing our pints which were much better than anything else that was on offer. Loads of people did the same. Probably the last game I go to for a while.

Let's be fair, there are plenty of people from both sides condemning behaviour to a greater degree because it comes from their political opponents. Apologism for sexual assault and harassment is unacceptable regardless of the political affiliation of the accused.

Little Owen Jones typifies the hypocrisy more than most. Actual sexual assault and harassment is a problem within most major political parties and they are all as bad as each other as far as I'm concerned. The fact that people use the opportunity to play politics rather than addressing the issues - rather like corbyn didnover grenfell- is incredibly revealing.

It's a difficult one because suggesting that an initiative like Everyday Sexism is insane and counterproductive to combating actual sexism by trivialising a serious issue will sound to certain ears like you are dismissing legitimate complaints about sexual harassment and assault when this is not the case. Certainly there is an insidious offense taking culture in the west which is extraordinarily divisive but the flip side of that is that more people are coming forward to report actual horrific abuses. Surely there can be some sort of middle ground between labelling every glance or interaction as examples of sexism and the dismissal of legitimate complaints or concerns? I hope so anyway
