  1. The whole referendum was a calculated political risk by Dave to shut up the eurosceptics in his party. The likelihood is that despite many doubts, the majority will ultimately be scared into voting to remain and go with what they know and that will be justification for the eu to push onwards with their project and never have to put that sort of thing to the British people again.
  2. How is that evidence to say that they will never be admitted? Could easily be admitted in a decade or two.
  3. Pure speculation on your part and no evidence to back up what you say.
  4. Not to mention turkey or whoever else they decide to admit in the future.
  5. Why is it not right? I would suggest it's because Trump is currently box office and of interest to the readership. They have also had other articles about what the other candidates stand for. It's not an election in this country so I think it's OK.
  6. It is a bit weird that corbyn is effectively anonymous over the whole Europe issue.
  7. Would help if you read posts properly before engaging in verbal diarrhoea.
  8. £200 a month seems about right to me.
  9. I thought the whole purpose was a common market? When was it decided that all the other stuff should be tacked on?
  10. The winding up petition at the court I believe was a new record for users on here at the time.
  11. It's not him don't think.
  12. let's be honest we have no idea if he has an impact or not.
  13. Might as well shut the forum down then if you can't voice an opinion before the game.
  14. I have no problem with doctors getting paid more. They do one of the hardest jobs in the world for pay that isn't fantastic. Jeremy Hunt is out of touch with the feelings of the public with this one and it could backfire unless there is tangible results.
  15. Couldn't he just go to a country where the age of consent is 15? I wonder what the population of that country would feel about it?
  16. Let's not try and pretend that all unions are the same. This particular strike has overwhelming public support and is the first time they have felt the need to strike in absolutely ages. Compare this to other more militant unions who strike at the drop of a hat and who are never happy to compromise and the two barely compare. I've listened to the doctors' arguments and I think they make a lot of sense. Good luck to them.
  17. Brilliant.
  18. I'm not sure about that. Sometimes I get hungry and have some of the overpriced food but it doesn't mean that I particularly enjoy it or go out of my way to get something there on a normal matchday.
  19. I think there is a difference between what you are saying and the position of many people. I for example understand and sympathise with a number of people on the left. I do however realise that there a sizeable number who consider themselves left wing who are also "P.C. clowns and huggie fluffie lefties" as you describe them. It's not the entire left wing of the political spectrum of course but it does exist and it leaves quite a bid impression of left wing politics in general in my opinion just as I expect there is a similar feeling amongst left wingers towards the right.
  20. If you're aligning yourself with soggy then it's really not going to help your argument in any way...
  21. Why are you asking someone to mind their own business on a public forum? It's not like you sent whelk an insult via pm, it's available for everyone to see and comment on how childish it is.
  22. Your insulting reply to whelk gave the impression you were a child. If you are in fact an adult then that's even worse quite frankly.
