  1. Not only miles better, I would be very happy for us to do this. It's a good strategy for a club like us and will allow us to build gradually. It's exactly what we should be doing.
  2. Which for me is fine. That means we get another season with him, halt the perception that we are not in control and don't lose so many players next season. Arguably we should have done that with a couple of others too.
  3. The compromise should be selling him in January or next summer. It's going to happen and will be less damaging to us if it does.
  4. Yes it does but firstly I think they only stopped it cos of the chambers outcry and secondly I think we should have been entitled to demand someone like lovren stay and not Morgan.
  5. Yeah I reckon this. They probably told him he could leave in January maybe but he wasn't told that they were going to release all the info to the fans hence his annoyed tweet.
  6. Yeah this basically. I don't think I would feel that about any other player but Morgan has given us six years service and been a model professional. It's not like chambers who has been here for 25 games. Hopefully they can sort out some compromise like Guan said.
  7. No saints fan want him sold i can just see why he would be annoyed about it all. He has a point.
  8. I think it is pretty hypocritical of the club to say we don't want players here who don't want to be here and then to refuse to let these two have their move. Especially because my strong suspicion is we were going to let them move until we saw the fallout from the chambers sale. I never said we should let morgan leave. I can just see why he is annoyed about it.
  9. They can't win now because they set the original precedent. They should have been firm from the start IMO.
  10. See I really don't get how this is Morgans fault.
  11. I'm amazed that people are still blaming all the players and other wondering why virtually every player wants to leave.
  12. Surely if he does leave Ralph has to resign?
  13. If Morgan had come back from the world cup earlier I imagine he would be gone by now. Unlucky for him.
  14. The Southampton way. I'm not going into detail about it, you know what it is.
  15. I realise he is Canadian but there is no such word as canadianisms.
  16. and so it continues...
  17. So why did we do that with him but none of the others? Odd.
  18. That's probably true.
  19. I'm not wishing him to leave based on that point alone, it was simply a reply to someone who had also recognised it.
  20. They may have a plan but he struggled to vocalise the plan when asked directly by Adam. Before kruger we had a plan, everyone knew what it was and it was easy to understand and see it working. It would be good to have a similarly clear plan this time around.
  21. I already said I wasn't thrilled with his reply to what our plan is. I think how he says things is important because we have been discussing the board appearing like a bunch of amateurs who have been naive. Ralph's language just serves to underline the point that he has little idea of how football works.
  22. Don't be a cretin. I heard the interview and thought it was OK but still woolly in areas. Actions will be much more telling. In addition to that, his Americanisms give an impression that he has little idea of what professional football is like as well as being a bit grating.
  23. Where did I say it was? His Americanisms are grating.
  24. It was about the partnership with Toronto FC.
