  1. Totally agree. Great post. Night all!
  2. And before you ask I know this because I have a female relative who works in catering at the ground for every home game.
  3. Backers that nicola has sourced as outlined in an old interview possibly.
  4. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Just extremely cocky, fired a girl last week for being too slow struts around like he owns the place. He clearly isn't working under intolerable conditions.
  5. Because she doesn't want to sell this asset of her fathers to a person she isn't keen on? Possibly...
  6. There must be a reason they refuse to sell. I have always maintained that the family and Cortese have never seen eye to eye and it is possible that they don't want to sell an asset that gave their father so much pleasure over to nicola. I guess we will find out, either way it will be interesting!
  7. Glad I'm not the only one who can see straight through that...
  8. Well considering what he is like on match days he certainly does not seem to be working under intolerable conditions.
  9. Like Steve says I don't think he will go anywhere. If I were the liebherrs though I'd be a bit fecked off by this playing of the media constantly.
  10. I suspect this is to put pressure on the liebherrs to sell. That silly pr piece from last month was clearly the first step on this tactical battle.
  11. Indeed! And free use of the club car park
  12. She will see us alright. Ethical family.
  13. Wtf is he on about intolerable conditions? He has had free reign of the place.
  14. Could well happen. Personally I'm pretty relaxed since Tbh I expected him to leave a season or two ago. He will probably leave at some point in the next few years and the club will continue and I will still be able to watch them que sera sera.
  15. I hope if he does go there isn't a bunch of fannies on here saying that's the end of the club. Yes it is potentially bad from quite a few perspectives but life goes on. In ten years time we may be onto a completely new chapter with some other kind benefactor. We could of course implode and be stuck Down with the skates but that's the beauty and unpredictability of football.
  16. What law? Surely it's their assets to do with as they see fit?
  17. Bit amateurish to use the same tactics as last year. I wonder if there is any substance to it this time.
  18. But as Everton found it can be difficult to sell a club for multiple millions. Many clubs sell for a cut price to get the deal done. Selling Shaw would give them 30 million immediately.
  19. OK then how does that work then for a children's nursery? Please name a children's nursery that pays the living wage and is financially viable. Your solution would be to charge parents more. How would that work considering how much they are already charged?
  20. Yeah this is probably the most likely scenario. We could very well finish lower next season without big investment so Nicola's achievements could look less impressive.
  21. Why?
  22. But not all of that will necessarily happen will it.
  23. Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually agree...
  24. In what sense? In league one with minus ten we were royally fecked. If Cortese leaves we will still be in the prem, still have a number of assets and still get parachute payments if we go down. We may get relegated again but we will get another owner and survive (which didn't look likely before the liebherrs showed up). This was always going to happen at some point.
  25. If he leaves we will probably be sold and I would imagine there would be a number of buyers. We will be left still in the prem so a much better position than previously. Saints are bigger than any one person and it's just another dip in the roller coaster that is supporting saints.
