But that has nothing to do with United because their task of replacing players is made miles easier because they have many more players to choose from. We don't have that luxury (in many ways this makes last summer even more impressive but we shouldn't assume that streak will continue forever.)
Well yes I can see that point of view but I think it's difficult to prove that his poor performances are due to a lack of effort rather than a dropoff in form. Regarding your second point, I presume you know something I don't about Clyne not responding to offers. If that is the case then yes I agree, but it must have been obvious to the club that he didn't want to sign some time ago. Why all the leaks about being positive he will sign?
Why? He hasn't said anything disparaging about us and has handled himself well imo. I don't hope he is successful but u don't dislike him. He hasn't been like Adam.
What I don't understand is aluko and others were all saying before the tournament how we shouldn't compare it to the men's game and how it's a sport in its own right, and then the first words out of the coaches mouth is to compare their achievement to male teams of the past. Either you want to be seen as separate or you don't. It's confusing.
Why should we comment on anything if that's your attitude? And why are you lumping me in with alpine? All I said was I wouldn't be that happy with 12.5 million, a view shared by many. It's irrelevant though as supposedly it hasn't been agreed yet so it appears that the club agrees with me.
No there isn't. I wasn't attaching any blame to anyone, just making an observation. If we lose Morgan, Clyne and Toby, it is going to be tough to replicate what we did last year and still come out with similar performances.
