  1. He certainly is. Say no one will be sold before a new manager is brought in on Thursday and then by the end of the weekend potentially our most popular player and talisman is sold for possibly as little as 4 million which in today's prices is virtually free. It beggars belief and all we can do is cling onto the faint hope that this has been rejected. Part of me would be happy for rickie and find this a lot easier to accept if it was happening after the world cup but not before. I was so looking forward to see rickie come on...
  2. Would have made departures a lot easier to take knowing we had something tangible from the good times.
  3. Yeah but I was just saying that I don't think rickie feels he is just going through a career here. For some players it is more than that.
  4. In fairness it was rickie who was genuinely gushing a bit Southampton and saying he wanted to end his career here.
  5. Read and comprehend the first word of the sentence.
  6. If he does go this weekend then literally a couple of days after Ralph's statement he will have lied to the fanbase. That's pretty amateurish.
  7. Not sure anyone will care at the moment.
  8. Indeed! I can't believe there are people saying this isn't a bad deal. It's a horrendous deal!
  9. Numerous media outlets.
  10. Looking likely at the moment.
  11. If rickie goes then what Ralph said yesterday was basically a lie.
  12. Didn't rickie say he was going to retire here?
  13. How is 4 million not a bad deal? It's pathetic considering what he represents to this club.
  14. When we get 60 odd million just for turning up, why are we selling our only fit striker for a poxy 4 million?
  15. That is pathetic. After the pr bit from yesterday it seems it really was just words.
  16. TBF it is Elizabeth truss in charge of the nursery debacle. Other than that I agree.
  17. Is it the same people saying both things?
  18. I heard Javier De Pedro was being considered
  19. I'm not touchy at all. I suggest you are reading too much into words on a screen.
  20. Fair comments. Some of his management speak does grate on me but you make a good point it could be just getting lost in translation.
  21. Did he? I never heard that. If so that's great news.
  22. Obviously. They will have to go some to get players in who are better though. Certainly not English players anyway which will dampen my interest somewhat
  23. Well in his own words it was clear he was referring to players leaving. Not sure why you are arguing, it's obvious that players will leave.
  24. What I was saying is that I don't think it's unreasonable that many will not be positive until there is something to be positive about. With a load of players making worrying noises, I can see why many are quite downbeat about the club at the moment.
