Agree there but it's the players we will probably lose after that that is the problem.

Seems these deals have been done for a while and the fans have been played for fools. Any players we get in now will be a risk and it could be a very difficult year. I'm pretty disappointed to be honest because even though I expected them both to leave, I would have thought we would have done our business first. It's going to be very hard to convince players of our ambition now.

It's a bit of a stretch to say that every player who starts playing with better players will see their own game go through the roof. That doesn't follow with every player at all. It did with Shaw, but no guarantee it will happen with targett or others.

I don't believe that the club believe targett to be a far better option.
