For your information I am a season ticket holder so kindly wind your neck in and refrain from the name calling. -
More cheap or free tickets, hardly a way to generate cash. They could only generate circa 15,000 fans for a game against one of the clubs pushing for promotion and that was with hundreds of freebies and offers on tickets.

Interesting post on one of their forums. Unofficially I am hearing last ever game could be Burnley. Word is police will not let Southampton and Millwall games go ahead if there is any chance of an annoyed Portsmouth element This was backed up by someone else as well. No idea at all as to why the Police could have a say on when the skates could get wound up?

Can hear the knucles of the Neandertals dragging on the ground now as they foam at the mouth at the prospect of shouting SCUMMER at him during the game.

Reply from the FL regarding the ticket pricing. Thank you for your email. Football League Regulation 32.2.11 (agreed by our member clubs) states that, ‘Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters provided always that each Club shall be permitted to designate four (4) Matchers per Season as ‘local promotion’ Matches where this Regulation shall be deemed not to apply. Clubs shall notify the Executive of the Matches so designated as and when they are designated.’ Portsmouth has notified the Executive of their offer and it complies with these regulations. Whilst we encourage clubs to be fair with their pricing and where possible make gestures to both home and away clubs, every club has the ability to run four local promotions per season, and as individual businesses, can set their discounts accordingly. This regulation was agreed to and voted for by our member clubs. Thank you for contacting The Football League. Another Portsea Island pub myth.......

Must have been all of 50 people at the forum with Birch. Another Pack the Park then... LOL

E-mail sent to the FL asking the question. Also showing the irony that Richie and Pack, deemed not good enough for Portsmouth but are up for Football League awards. The second irony being Portsmouth FC being nominated in the Community club award, defrauded very same community out of tens of thousands of pounds and finally the Family club award showing those great family values of fraud and tax evasion.

He added: ‘I am confident on one level in that I think it is such a great football club and they will be coming out of the woodwork. WTF, great club PMSL. The only thing coming out of the woodwork will be the skeletons from the cupboards.

They really do believe their own hype...... Fans sing out despite Ipswich defeat Fans stay behind in the Fratton end after the game Published on Tuesday 14 February 2012 19:45 POMPEY fans did their club proud tonight after a rallying call to Pack the Park. The team may have lost 1-0 to Ipswich but the fans did not let the club down - and deservedly were given the man of the match award. The club’s famous supporters started chanting ‘Michael Appleton’s Blue and White Army’ early in the first half and obeyed the plea to sing for the entire 90 minutes to show their love for Pompey in another time of crisis. Many fans stayed in their seats at the end in a stirring show of spirit. Ipswich’s early goal had sparked loud singing from the Fratton end, but after a dip near the end of the first half the second half kicked off with a wall of noise from the Pompey fans. A legitimate goal that was wrongly disallowed for Dave Kitson set off another round of chanting ‘we will never die’. The match is being staged after the club yesterday confirmed it has applied to the High Court to enter administration. The News has backed the Pack the Park campaign by the Pompey Supporters Trust to encourage fans to turn out to help boost Pompey’s coffers. Pompey have agreed for The News ‘Pompey Til I Die’ flag to be passed across the Fratton End just before the game. Just before kick-off News deputy editor Mark Acheson said: ‘The News Pompey Til I Die flag has just passed over the Fratton End. Game on!’ At half-time a man proposed to his girlfriend - and she said yes. Speaking before the game, Bob Beech, of SOS Pompey, said: ‘There have been some very special days and nights at Fratton Park over the years and this really could be one of them. ‘In a few years time people could be looking back and saying “remember that night against Ipswich?”’

Ahhhh............ Portsmouth's players will pay for the shirts they gave to away fans after the 1-1 draw at Blackpool, despite not being paid since December. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4124594/Blackpool-1-Portsmouth-1.html

OMFG. Found this on one of their forums. "A few ill-informed and vicious comments added but the article is sympathetic to Pompey." http://www.dexysden.co.uk/2012/02/ports ... ll+Blog%29 Portsmouth Football Club have been hit with yet another punch as the threat of administration looms – with manager Michael Appleton stating he is ‘ready for a points deduction.’ But is a points deduction really fair on Portsmouth Football Club? Pompey’s recent dogged luck has been created by individuals who were inadequate to run the football club and a controversial system in which they were appointed: the so called Fit and Proper Person’s Test. But surely the Fit and Proper Person’s Test should have ensured that they were suitable to run the club? It seems it has not. Over the past five years, Portsmouth has had five owners, and during those years, has spiralled into more than £100m worth of debt. The club’s latest owner, Vladimir Antonov has been arrested in an inquiry into asset stripping, plunging Portsmouth into further financial trouble. It seems that the club and fans are suffering from the alleged criminality that is separate to football business but yet still somehow affecting the club’s current state. The latest group of people suffering at the centre of this fiasco are in fact the employees of the club; from the cleaners to the players. Frozen payments and redundancies have tainted Portsmouth’s reputation and has completely demoralised the fans. This is in addition to the smaller local businesses who have lost money and were let down by previous agreements referring to the services they provided the club with. The cry from Portsmouth supporters for a new owner is stronger than ever: one who has his or her heart set in the right place and can scrape the club off the bottom of the barrel and revive it. So the question that should be asked is: Is it fair that this crisis is hitting the little groups, while the previous owners who caused this mess can slip away scot free?

'The club has also been nominated for the Tokio Marine Family Club of the Year'. Surely the SKATES have got an unfair advantage in that award!!

Even the council are now in on the act. 3 February 2012 Football and Pompey are incredibly important here in Portsmouth. The fans of Portsmouth Football Club have always been Pompey's 12th man, so now that the future of the club is in question, I wanted to encourage any of you who are fans to show your support and get involved. The Pompey Supporters Trust have set up a database to allow fans to register and show support for all efforts to save Portsmouth Football Club. The trust feels that the club needs a different model of ownership, with meaningful supporter involvement and dialogue, allowing those who care about the club the most - the fans - to help safeguard the club's future and play a real role in running and developing it. I believe having stable, competent, businesslike owners for the club is important to allow success on the pitch. Having fans - the real owners of the club's ethos - as part-owners would give that real stability. Even if you don’t follow the football club but understand and appreciate its value to our proud city, I encourage you to register your support at http://www.pompeys12thman.co.uk Councillor Gerald Vernon-Jackson Leader of the Council Surely the software at e-bay has broken? It says only 79 have been sold, that has to be wrong and missing at least 3 zeros from the end. After all we are talking about the 'bestest fans in the world' here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI. ... 0820074412
