This was your response to my thread on Adkin's record : Adkins has said some substantial bids are in to try and improve the squad, hopefully for the championship. If they don't come off he is not worried and will not be shopping around as this squad is good enough. 1) Why is Adkins talking boll~cks? 2) How many do we need to cover this feared injury crisis? Squad of 50? Jose reckoned 24 was best! 3) Why don't you think our forwards of Lambert, Connolly, Barnard, Guly, Lallana etc can compete with Brighton's as above?

It is still magic to me but it has changed. I think its easy to blame the premiership, champions league etc but its something much more important than that. It not been the same since they stopped the FA Cup "It's a knock out" The FA Cup final was one of the very few chances players got to play at Wembley - no semi finals there or play offs. We didn't have live league football so was one of the few chances to see a 90 min club game. It was televised throughout the world. It was more special, mainly to the all morning build up with its a knock out!

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, AND I RESPECT ALL OTHERS (BAR ONE) ON THIS FORUM Lallana Chaplow and Guly all signing contracts would be good window for us. Ox-C and Puncheon staying even better. Extra winger could be good. Anything else that could prepare us for where we hope to be next season would be a nice luxory.

what if all of our players get injured? We will be short of players and Alps will be right that we lacked foresight in not having a squad of 50 experienced premiership players.
