Used 20 players so far in league - all quality players who would get in most sides. plus Bart, couple of injured players loans etc. Decent size squad can't personally see the any deadwood in that 20 and would have to be pretty impressive signing to dislodge first 11

In answer to 2) The question marks are more likely here and in press than within the club. If they stay we do not need another winger. If they are going we do. Simple.
-
Think Harding has started more of our recent games than Dickson.

OS update no price been put out http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2266521,00.html?

Ronaldo -Man U - selling club - all fans left them???
-
believe it was in the same interview you refer to that Adkins also said if those bids don't come off then he is not shopping aorund as this squad is good enough to win the league. My guess is they are either players who would do well in championship or young talent
-
those are not up to league 1???
-
Aplogies. I heard an interview with Mark saying although Paul Hart was his boss he wouldn't agree with Hart and sign Alex for skates - didn't realise he was only there a shortwhile
-
exactly, they won't sign for sake of it when squad has more than enough cover for every position.
-
and a higher level midfielder (Chaplow) and possibly a forward who can score very regularly, versatile, unpredictable an fast - Guly
-
Can't see any reason why saints would let him leave now. Expect to see him for rest of season. Whether that is because he is being sold at the end of the season, or loaned back doesn't really matter.
-
fee was agreed and written into loan contract
-
squad has lovely depth - scored off bench 4 out last 5 games
-
Mail said other day he was going to Stoke I think
-
very different than Walcott in that he is in contract. He can hardly be hating winning 6-0 and scoring for fun so much that he can sit back and wait 4 months and review it
-
wouldn't be surprised, believable. Adkins has made several comments about squad being good enough and bids are more speculative for future
-
Easy for me - how good have we been since I have been aware of saints? Is there any relevance to anyone that Preston used to win more titles than Man U? No. I am in my forties, all my life except the last 7 years we have been the better side. That applies to most people! Therefore, the history that is at all relevant to me, i.e I have enjoyed, has had us as by far the better side. They are currently better than us. After this year we will be above them for the rest of my life and the 7 year blip will soon be forgotten by football supporters around the country.

don't think we should get too carried away with the detail of anything Adkins says - I don't think he does! It could be read he was out of here, but equally could have been saying how well things are going and players will want to be part of it. (or you could not listen and guess!)
-
he was introduced to crowd one game last season
-
unfortunately if its sells out its hard to argue it was too expensive

Guly. (not seen or heard it but apparently that doesn't matter when voicing opinions on here)
-
his dad was youth team coach with skates when he decided, against the wishes of his boss (Hart) to send him here
-
they moaned about taking manager from a prem league team that finished 12th. Think they will want much more of a name personally
-
Differences with Walcott In contract - Walcott wasn't more in need of quality players than money. Really can't see Ox-c having an issue with club saying they won't talk to anyone in this window, he has plenty of time on his contract, will be enjoying winning 6-0 and would only have to wait 4 months to re-assess. The club would get just as much in the summer and would have improved our chances of going up.
