There is a question mark! Didn't mean to upset you but there is another thread with all the other paper speculation and this thread misled me and guess it would others.
-
Draw at home to team with best current form. Leaves us second in current form with over 2 points per game.
-
ref was poor, result frustrating - not necessarily linked though.
-
If we were someone like Everton it would be very unlikely we would be able to keep him or he would want to stay. He will, and probably quite rightly leave. Its just when and for how much. Adkins would be a fool to say he is never leaving.
-
If we were looking at signing someone to come and play second fiddle to Lallana as cover, I can't imagine we would get anyone as good as Puncheon.
-
close? covered on other thread?

2nd to Notts C in form table. Not time to panic! http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-one/2010-2011/form-table/full

Ox-C had one of his worst games, made a few wring decisions and had them doubling up on him. Was bit concerned when Gobbern came on but thought he did ok, got stuck in an calm on the ball.
-
loads of little decisions wrong - some in our favour, throw in to wrong team, Not good ref / lino.
-
and so he should if we are honest.
-
but if he is it will be a huge loss - probably the player we would miss more than any others. This is why I hope both Alex Ox-C and Puncheon stay unless replacments ready
-
still didn't sound like he was expecting him out for weeks - let alone months
-
not that it is easy to tell much from Adkin's interviews but thought he sounded fairly relaxed saying something like "we expect him back sooner rather than later".
-
he's in a long contract. Can't see 17 yr old just joining a team winning 6-0 to bo so upset he sulks.
-
sensible post
-
if he is not going to be available I am sure Adkins will make contingency plans for our current 3rd choice forward. Yes current squad is stronger than all rivals and good enough to win league - just ask Nigel!
-
good result - B'mth and Charlton - new managers without experience
-
even if they don't lose they are playing a team just below us
-
did those witch hunts effectively drive out the nutters?
-
no, can be abh with weapon
-
Keegan didn't play in a traditional red and white stripe kit - no more "traditional" saints than current one (and pardon granted)
-
Bobby Stokes didn't score in red and white stripes (appreciate all clubs have away kit) but more relevant Keegan . Channon etc played our most famous football without stripes
-
genuinely think he is on wind up now - he can't be that foolish, but we all keep biting!

Lee Barnard is one of the best forwards in this league. Last season he got 24 league goals in 39 starts This season he is on 7 from 11 starts. He is our 3rd choice forward. Connolly is a good striker and prepared to be a sub due to his age and injury history but clearly still part of clubs plans. If we sign another striker we will end up with a forward, young and in form, who has scored 31 goals in his last 50 starts at this level being 4th choice. Maybe get rid of him as deadwood?
