personally could live with another season in league 1 if its building for the future, concerns are though; 1) keeping hold of players like Schneiderlin, Lallana, Lambert if we are still in league 1 2) not being able to stuff skates in CCC next season!

still very possible, therefore realistic to consider it. other teams more likely as so far ahead, therefore unrealistic to expect it. about 50/50 for me, but chances can easily look very different after a few good or bad games. If we go mad, signing likes of Stocks, Danns and a good forward would start being quite optimistic.

could never understand why mills was ever played ahead of him, whenever I have seen him he works harder and more productive/more quality.

I agree with that one! Maybe thats what Glasgow was thinking about! Think it was Cortesse in forum talking about meeting another chairman, who asked how we will do and Cortesse said top two - think it was a bit of fun to certain extent tho

this is getting silly. You can have the last word after this. I do not think Pardew has ever given an interview/made comment saying top two is realistic target - only the stepping stones mentioned in other posts. You say he did. You can't find it.
