I can see Charlton, Watford and Barnsley doing badly over next few weeks - with an ok run hopefully we can get away from them. Barnsley are a 4 defeat sequence. Watford and Charlton both 4 points from last 6. Those straws help sometimes!

brilliant insight Hillhead.

getting fed up with it to be honest -don't mind differing views had some good debates on here, but as it seems unless you sign up to face book (which I don't understand) slag off every player, think the march will make Lowe suddenly give up, you must be a Lowe luvvie and can't have an opinion. As said before, at least LC agrees with me! If it carries on like this I certainly won't post (not that I expect to be missed!)
-
shall I take that as an apology?

Just posted this on the other thread. Want Lowe out. don't think march or protest will work. Simple enough or am I not allowed to think those two things. If I genuinely don't think the march will work are you saying I shouldn't say so? Its not belittling at all. Crouch said the same. (but he is Lowe/Wilde luvvie isn't he!). Lowe caved in with protests last time didn't he?
-
I want Lowe out. Don't think protests or marches will ever work. Is that clear enough? I am allowed to think both of those?
-
part of your problem was when you quoted a NickH post pro Lowe then one from me with a different view -and you moaned about me changing my mind!
-
think many with great intellect are anti lowe -unfortunately there are several with low intellect here posting and manage to respond to any genuine question, alternative view or querying whether they will get there desired outcome as "well you are just a luvvie" not only failing to argue a point, but wrong and boring
-
much better put than others!
-
once again, unable to debate your point just resort to labelling anyone who has the nerve to question it a lowe luvvie. Try and keep to a mature debate. I don't belittle anyone who feels strongly but as Leon Crouch said the only way Lowe will go is with someone coming in with money. Is Crouch a Lowe luvvie as he is saying exactly the same as me! ~Answer that without mentioning lowe luvvie;)
-
challenge for you -find my pro-lowe posts! there are loads saying I want him out, but just because I don't think the march will achieve that, those of little intellect resort for the "you are just a lowe luvvie" arguement rather than discussing a point.
-
the start is an investor coming in, or Crouch coming up with £6m. Think we will agree to disagree. Not knocking anyone for trying, just think Lowe will not care and therefore its a waste of time effectively
-
ok lets both keep it simple. Acknowledge its was a step - how do you see it working? Whats the bit in the middle!
-
not at all, asking how it will achieve its objective -even Crouch seems to say on Championship it won't work. Causing unnecessary arguments - Rupert will be proud of you!
-
analogy falls down as the step is recognisable as a step towards the goal - I am yet to hear how this is a step towards the goal rather than just steps!
-
But how does the march achieve its objective? Not hard!

Not impressed with Wotte "Fans are very easy with their judgement"

think we have to -
only metaphorical pom poms I had yesterday were red and white and I enjoyed the game. Not knocking those who protested just think they wasted their time but if it made them feel more positive and that they were doing something fair enough. I know you are only teasing but even you can't read that as pro Lowe!
-
you misunderstand -not saying they should stay just don't see how the march makes one bit of difference to their longevity here?
-
but how does a march achieve this?
-
lol -won't help you with it........

sounds like Wotte got tactics and subs right One of the toughest games I've seen in a while. Saints were up for it from the off. Maybe a bit over wound up. Reminded me of non-league football at times. Disciplined in their shape behind the ball, they were in our faces and closing down quickly but where it was disappointing was that they were launching into challenges even after the ball was gone or following through instead of pulling out. Ref let a lot ride and then picked up on small stuff. The sending off was a good call and there should have been several more yellows. Who knows; if he hadn't let so much early stuff pass then maybe the game might have been better later. Saints did to us what we do to others ie stop the oposition playing, but where we keep the ball they just stopped us playing, and read the passes. In fairness they also put together some good attacking football but really they looked like they wanted it more than us. Monk and Williams were poor at times giving the ball away and good at others with excellent challenges. Tate couldn't find another grey shirt with a pass for most of the game. Allen got caught in possession time and again early on, but got better. Poorest game I've seen from Gower, looks drained. Orlandi didn't get the ball as much as I would have liked but did well later when we worked out the best time/place to give him the ball; he needs game time. Scotland was good, as was Gomez and Britton (who were both targeted for a bit of close attention) and Rangel did OK. Pintado made an impact but too often he and Scotland ran the same lines or looked at each other and neither ran. For me, they need more game time together to refine the partnership. Missed Pratleys presence and probably Dyers pace after the impact he's had in such a short time. When we scored the second we looked really good and it seemed we'd run up a few more but their subs wrestled the balance away from us and they deserved their equaliser. We should have done better but we couldn't find another gear as Saints weren't prepared to roll over

Credit to Southampton, they played tough aggressive football, gave us absolutely no time on the ball and we looked shook up. Not being able to control the game made us look ordinary. A few over the top challenges from them but it was their pace in closing us down and always at least 2 of then closing 1 of us. Credit where its due they played propper football and even though i agree with RM, some tackles were OTT, they still played well. Well done to Southampton for actually giving us a game. Too often this season we have seen teams fold or conceed after a short time
