  1. at the match -yes, march -no
  2. Crouch on The Championship said the only way Lowe will go is if investor comes forward -how does a march achieve this?
  3. more likely -than something that has a tiny chance of achieving something if any
  4. that is more likely to get a positive change than a march imho
  5. Alpine -he ignored it totally last time -didn't care and even when shareholders ganged up on him he would let go until last minute when it was mathematically impossible for him to win, and then comes back as soon as he could! Thicker skin than a rhino!
  6. He was wrong to appoint Jan as that clearly didn't work and he had to go. I would have been happier to have a new outsider come in -but you can see from the comments on here, one persons saviour is anothers **** I am willing to see how Wotte does -so far there has been any improvement.
  7. He didn't sat that -so if you are going to analyse his every word get them right !
  8. he will disregard it anyway -he did last time. At least we had a decent enjoyable game and reasonable performance to give us some hope - a lot more than I did after Doncaster. It got publicity for the protest - but as Crouch said on The Championship the only way Lowe is going is if a major investor comes in
  9. he didn't say that, just watched it again -so think you can relax! and maybe reserve your opinion of him to what he does with the team!
  10. ok, maybe I am missing a point -what did he say that offended and how?
  11. he didn't say anything wrong, serious OTT obsession on here
  12. Didn't recognise David Armstrong when he started talking on the championship!
  13. depends on fee and terms etc which we don't know. team sometimes pay for the privilege of being guaranteed the player for the rest of season
  14. read this thread first, now just seen programme - and chuckled! total over reaction thought fans, Wotte and team all came across well And Crouch said, surprise surprise, the way to get rid of Lowe is for someone to come up with a big investment.
  15. Wouldn't go so far as saying impressed but fact is he has done ok so far. He seems to have changed line up and spirit for the better. Team seemed more confident yesterday -which after one win couldn't be easy. Suggest lay off the criticisms purely due to who employed him and see how he gets on?
  16. yes its best to give a manager two games to prove himself
  17. don't think we can recall him, they probably paid a fee
  18. from the times, love the first line; WEEK after knocking Portsmouth out of the FA Cup, Swansea surprisingly found another south coast club possessed greater resolve. Southampton were down to 10 men for most of the second half after Lee Molyneux was sent off, yet still managed to equalise through a second well-crafted goal by Marek Saganowski. It is too early to tell whether Southampton’s attempt to play proper football will be radically changed by Mark Wotte, their new coach, although there were indications here of a more aggressive approach. Another demonstration by around 1,000 Southampton supporters against executive chairman Rupert Lowe preceded a first half illuminated by two notable goals. First, Saganowski capitalised on an under-hit back pass from Garry Monk and picked out the left corner of Dorus De Vries’ goal. Then, after 32 minutes, an equaliser of still greater excellence. Jordi Gomez, the refined midfielder on loan to Swansea from Espanyol, collected the ball from Jason Scotland, cut across goal and unerringly placed his shot past Kelvin Davis from 20 yards. The sending-off of Molyneux, Southampton’s left-back, was the precursor to Swansea’s second goal. A 20-yard shot across goal by Alan Tate was parried by Davis to the feet of Gorka Pintado, who had just come on as a substitute. Another defender might just have made all the difference. And then the equaliser. Saganowski, his touch no less assured than in the first half, spotted De Vries uncertain as to whether to come well off his line to block a through pass and chipped him perfectly. Roberto Martinez, the Swansea manager, said his players were not given enough protection from the referee. “We needed a strong referee and did not get the protection we deserved,” Martinez said. Nevertheless, Swansea are now unbeaten in 14 matches. Star man: Marek Saganowski (Soton
  19. strange one!
  20. but if the book balance (who knows) and maybe even crowds go up, again what do the bank care?
  21. I was surprised how hard DMG worked, losing it in CF position and sprinting back to fullback to tackle.
  22. particularly Gillet in first half -more a traditional right midfield
  23. if we win mid week the attendances will probably be up for the next game, after people hearing about todays good game. Genuinely best of luck in getting rid of the board and getting a united club but I still think buying serious shares, or Crouch and Wilde sorting something out are the only way Lowe will go. You could have marches weekly, I don't think he gives a ****
  24. thought our best bit was the first 20 mins -and we scored first!
