true -very few 4-4-2 have a flat four, without anyone holding further back not anyone pushing on, nor two forwards side by side. That's why I think the criticism of the team should have been aimed more at the players and the preparation of them rather than saying we lost cos we didn't play 4-4-2

My only criticism is not the motivation but the effect, todays decent performance and good entertainment will encourage fans and do more positive for the current regime. As always its all about results, win in midweek and the protests will lose some momentum, poor performance and it will build again. Well thought out protest tho, and without any negative impact on the club/team for which I applaude it. (good pr using the route into the ground as I expect there were several joining in who would have been walking there anyway!)

Photos show good turn out, good support during the game and decent performance. Glad to see no in-fighting between fans this time. What was the second protect after the game about? Was about 30 to 40 crowded around tv camera outside the front entrance singing anti-lowe songs -looked very set up for the camera, or an alternative protest with embarassing turn out!

No I can't. My guess is that we could have afforded to keep him i.e. would not have gone bust paying him. But Lowe wanted to bring in his new team, he thought they would be both cheaper and at least as good. Whether he saved money who knows but obviously Jan didn't work. This thread was a question in response to the rumours of imminent administration -next few days???

Wotte has it far harder imho. Bet we weren't close to the relegation candidates with bookies last year when NP came in, I was surpised we were still candidates for the drop at the last game.

next two games are pivotal in my opinion, both home -and its home form getting us relegated new manager time running out 6 points - pretty confident 4 points - fairly confident 3 points - doesn't really answer it, still looking very gloomy but not written off 0/1 points - looking favorites for relegation

there is still plent of time -put on one of these threads that heard on radio 80% of transfer nationally take place in last 24 hours. Having said that, 3 in, talks for at least one other -doesn't sound like administration this week to me. At very least I would have thought the financial situation was explained to some degree to Saeijs before he moved to another country?
