Wotte " Paul Wotton was inspirational," the Dutchman commented. "We had a good attitude and created a lot of opportunities despite the conditions." wasn't he meant to have had run in with management team? Did we ever find out what happened?

this forum shows the difficulty in a single fans voice!

again think Crouch makes it too personal, ex-players without an agenda except a love of the club would help
-
think this would make it too personal, rather than fans v board, know what you are saying but think it would be counterproductive
-
and the home win is the first game I have missed for a few years, so I haven't even seen one win!
-
you posted it?!

his record is better than I remember. We just need something to make us, and player feel positive. Don't think Jan being replaced by Wotte, or Lowe being replaced by Crouch will do that. Needs a real feel good factor/fresh start. or some wins! Think that is why Saturday made everyone so low, we had draw against reading, then away win, a 6-pointer followed by some easier games -we could have ground out that feel good factor, by moving up a few places and building on confidence, but instead now another defeat and why will it be different next one?
-
thats how I took it, well not having a go but pointing out how pointless it was
-
will be interested to hear more

we just need some light, at the end of this tunnel. as I said in thread re time for change, it needs something that can get a bit of positivity, with players we have (albeit not world beaters) we can do better. need something to give confidence to fans and players.

seems reasonable, would be interesting for the echo to approach the usual names and ask for comment on current situation and what they are prepared to do, including LC
-
should have kept Burley!
-
why according to him he wasn't coming back!
-
what I have always said is remember the hate for Lowe last time. He didn't care. Even when the ground stood almost everyone seeking his removal, when shareholders were against him, he ran it right up until the AGM when LC finally sided with Wilde. Fear falling gates and protests don't get to him or his allies

Saints Trust spokesman Nick Illingsworth also held reservations about Pearson's appointment, believing the fans will need to be convinced about the move. "The appointment most people were looking for was a 'name' manager, the likes of Iain Dowie, Chris Coleman or even Kevin Blackwell," said Illingsworth. It's come as a surprise to me and it'll certainly come as a surprise to the fans Ex-Saints boss Dave Merrington "We had hoped for someone of that nature. This is a new way forward and it's either going to work spectacularly well or see great failure
