this one is not what you think should happen -but what you think will!
-
think he offers bit more than NP and more experienced.

Interested in others views as to whether there will be any changes, not whether you want them, but realistically can you see anything changing; Do you think there will be change in 1) manager this month? 2) manager this year? 3) chairman this month? 4) chairman this year? If I was betting it would probably be 1) no 2) yes 3) no 4) maybe but probably not

did Dowie get some bad press over bizarre training methods and using his brother?
-
think he can walk in Southampton without shame unlike others from yesterday.
-
what is your point? baiting? I was at both games if that helps.
-
always the way with managers; good ones at better clubs don't want to move down. good ones at similar level clubs don't want a move when doing well unless its a big step up few managers leave jobs for unemployment without being sacked So left with either failed managers elsewhere or manager from lower level

I thought of you, at 70 mins, when the chants started and I could hear them, I looked across to Lowe -and couldn't see him, so guess the answer was no they weren't audible to him!

he would not be worth much 1) keeper 2) his age 3) out of contract in summer. Would only get that sort of money, so better off refusing it and letting him go for free in the summer. We need him now

as one of the more positive/optimistic posters I was willing to see some good in Jan and the work he has tried to do. Think he is a decent guy, and maybe with a couple of lucky home wins to break the poor streak and take the pressure off he could have done better. As I walked into the ground yesterday and heard the team I felt we would do ok. Sure we didn't have players of yester-year, or even Rasiak, John etc but we had; very good keeper decent pairing at CB a signed LB who although I wasn't expecting great things was at least a LB Saga back We came off a away win and had a real chance to move on. What I saw was, yet again the team starting very well and then after failing to get an early goal looking under pressure and increasingly panicing. This can only get worse with each game we fail to win at home. I am not keen on continual management changes. Nor changing without being able to get someone better in (why I wanted GB to stay). However, my concern is the team have got into a rut and needs a significant change to reignite them and the supporters. A change in boardroom is looking very very unlikely. The only other changes that could do this would be a big name signing -not going to happen. Or a new manager. Without going over old arguments of Jan v NP, whether he should have been appointed etc, but we have all seen loads of good managers being sacked as their team gets into a rut then go onto get success elsewhere -sometimes it needs that kick. I know teams have been relegated, stuck with managers to then do well - and I do admire this way of working. But yesterday, seeing two players whistling to the bench then shrugging their shoulders as they didn't know what to do, I have changed my mind.

plays better with Gillet imho
-
think maybe there is an 8 year old with more common sense than OP
-
played all season with just one decent CB -so thought 2 was a luxury!
-
would swop Holmes and Lallana scores but apart from that fair

I was there -see true Lowe luvvie! Reckon there was a few more maybe 300 or so. Pretty reasonable, those inside then closed all the blinds. Can't blame club for getting stewards in the area, only takes a couple of idiots to throw something, and it maybe intimidating for people leaving (not the board!) Only thing is pretty sure Lowe wasn't there. Sad day.
-
both Schniederlin and James were whistling to get the attention of the bench and shrugging their shoulders looking confused -not good to see
-
about 200-300 gathered outside of players entrance chanting Lowe out etc. THe blinds were then all closed. Didn't see Lowe in his seat today.
-
I always start with a good feeling -just it often doesn't last! Just lleaving and quite excited about game. COYR!
-
the info wasn't that he was going to sign -but that he already has! Judge the reliability yourself!
-
in these times of cash shortages I don't think we can afford a secret player! We didn't sign him -the info was wrong!
-
it was wrong. He hasn't signed. Jan on radio tonight saying no-one else close to coming in but would review it if someone left but no talk of anyone leaving.
-
posted before so will make it short...saw him playing for youth/reserves that season when he got huge goal tally, he was poor, arrogant but knew he would score and did. Think he is suffering from being young, thrown in underperforming side without experienced support behind/alongside him and confidence. Think he will become decent player. But not a worker! 9 goals so far is not bad.
-
had some not good enough games but he has got ok scoring record so far.
-
no its not. But would you change a defence after two clean sheets etc? He has done ok over the season -if he goes on a run now he will be doing well, if he stops scoring and someone else is available you change it around.
