simple - blame Lowe for everything!
-
sorry added it to wrong thread!
-
is there a "none of the above" option? Lowe seems to thinks he way or no-way, Wilde -who knows what he thinks, Crouch - not sure but seemed to interested in speaking to the ego -sought publicity more than Lowe. Personally I would go for someone with serious investment on offer or leave it be for a change.

hey I thought I was clever thinking of him! Not just me that got it then!

Administration and administrative receivership When a company or partnership gets into financial trouble an administrator or administrative receiver may be appointed. Administration The role of an administrator is to get the company out of trouble and trading again if possible. Administrators can be appointed to a company that is unable, or is likely to become unable, to pay its debts. They can be appointed by any of the following: the courts - on application from a creditor, directors or partners the holder of a qualifying floating charge over the assets of the business the company or its directors An administrator's primary goal is to rescue the company as a going concern. If this isn't possible, the administrator will try to get a better result for the creditors than would be possible if the company was wound up. If neither of these is possible, the administrator will sell the company's property to make at least a partial payment to one or more secured or preferential creditors, such as employees or the bank. Administration can also apply to partnerships. Administrative receivership When a company borrows money, the lender is usually given some security over the company's assets to guarantee payment. If the company fails to keep the terms of the loan or encounters financial difficulties, the lender may be entitled to appoint an administrative receiver. An administrative receiver is an insolvency practitioner who has control of the whole, or a substantial part, of the company's property and wide powers over the business. The administrative receiver is mainly concerned with getting back the money owed to the secured creditor. The administrative receiver may sell the assets piecemeal, or sell the whole business as a going concern to pay off the secured creditor, and the costs of the receivership.

St Marco Again thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts. There are some assumptions, e.g. that list of players will be sold whether we are in administration or not. This is not known - for instance Schneiderlin was bought in the current financial situation so maybe affordable. We don't know exactly the debts. Administration is more likely to cash in quickly and cheaply. Lowe -won't buy it? Again don't think you can state that as fact or any more than a guess.

what position were we when gb left? and dodd/gorman left? not sure you are right. Holmes was playing well and you are right there were many threads on the equivalent of this for Derby fans, after he played well for us there cursing his departure.

Lowe does well to scout, sign and give team talks to players he hasn't met - according to direct quote from DMG or maybe the Lowe obsessives have it a little wrong?
-
catch up -the chairman runs every club. Managers don't watch every player personally. etc
-
possibly not -but one of them was our only big midfielder.
-
are you suggesting Alex F met Berbatov for discission before the night ne signed? Radio interview I heard JP said he had been to see him play a couple of times.

1) it is clear from all of our posts on here we do not have a clue about the detail of our financial plight. Who needs to go etc, whether they get paid etc. Can't see why that is hard to fathom. 2) Lowe sits in the directors box and has a three course dinner before the game - players tend to be elsewhere! I know its hard but maybe the good sources on here were little bit wrong and he hasn't had much to do with the players?
-
you need to get out more! I give up. There is no way you still genuinely have a problem with this and are mischief making.

please this isn't difficult! He went to the training ground during the day and had a Q&A session to explain the financial situation. This was to put them in the picture particularly following Stern John's departure. This was a separate session -not at the ground before the game. DMG said it was appreciated and gave the players a chance to meet RL as many hadn't. Jimmy Case said he thought it was a good thing, and although one who often criticises RL said many chairman would not have taken the time to do so and that it would have been good for the players. Later, completely separately, RL went into the changing room sometime before the game and wished the team luck and said some positive comments. Again DMG said it was a good thing. After the interview when Jimmy Case was questioned about this, by the presenter who seemed a bit surprised, Jimmy Case said it was quite common for chairman to pop into a changing room like this before a game. No-one who is there is putting a unusual or negative slant on this. It is not said anywhere that RL was there for the team talk or involved, nor distracted the players by talking about finances just before a game (infact he had tried to reassure them earlier.)
