"could" don't think anyone is disputing we could -doesn't say they predict/think we will etc. Anyway being a positive soul -we are a giant!

similar in that; Top division we had keeper who was the best in country and certainly better than our level at that time, CCC have keeper one of best in CCC and better than a bottom 6 CCC keeper. All about where we are now and what to expect.

DDs - thought differently after some googling when this came up before -think he played international as LB as well, maybe wrong and can't be bothered to do it all again -links were on old forum. Think he was LB until Hearts. Happy to be shown otherwise

he is easily higher than the 38th best first team keeper in England. Wright did well for us and I am grateful however do not go along with the theory that if KD had played those games we would have been down -KD has saved us on many occassions, quite bluntly he is a better keeper than our present position or the support he has had deserves. Bob Wilson has said that he expects any busy keeper to make 3 errors in a game -its depends on how bad they are and luck as to whether they are punished.

according to the radio their keeper played a blinder as well. No we are not good enough -not for a few years now

with someone like MLT you have to say as Alan Ball did -he is your best player and you want to get the best out of him, then build your team around him. With the rest, of course you want to get the best out of them but it a balancing act as to what other players you have and your team needs. With the attacking players such as Holmes, Mills, Lallana and Surman (possibly Smith and Gasmi) I think -at the moment Skacel is more useful as LB

intersting way of looking at it. I wonder how many on here first started going regularly when 16 say, and are now 28 or under, and in that time been to a good number of games. But may well say they know more about football than Lowe. Yet in that time he would have been to just about every home, away, friendly plus reserves and youth. Training seesion, regular meetings with various managers, agents players etc and was an FA board member. (not saying he was good at any of these!

Window is right -Skacel was a LB until GB moved him into midfield at hearts -strange he gets slagged off for using him as LB but it was him who moved him forward. I think he would be good in a more forward role -but he is the best LB we have so it makes sense to use him there when we have likes of Holmes, Surman and Mills who can do well infornt of him
