  1. Wotte, Dowie etc., never.
  2. Then you should go onto google and do a bit of research on insolvency. I would be interested to know why a solvent trading company would need a CVA. Furthermore, SLH owns the lodge, SMS, the farm, staplewood. SFC owns nothing and has £6m in debts inc the overdraft, and is being kept going by the creditors waiting for their money. They will get a lot more if the company doesn't go into administration, however as it has these liabilities it couldn't fund administration and would be wound up immediately. Get it now, if we are not bought in the next three weeks it's over.
  3. If anybody had an idea that there was money missing not shown in the books and I personally feel that unlikely, it's the fraud office not the FA/league that would be dealing with any investigation.
  4. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't happen in the next two weeks, the two bidders could slow it down a bit. There will be a clearout of management and players, with the sort of money put up front these people aren't messing about. I just hope they don't go for celebrity management but go for proven quality.
  5. A nice idea but born out of paranoia, Lowe won't be back. The minimum proof of funds is an enormous sum and I do mean enormous and two have come up with it. There is no way they don't have advisors that know everything that went on. Lowe is finished, if the potential buyers wanted to lose a lot of money he would do it for them. They aren't putting up that sort of money to let a **** like him bugger it all up in short order. Sounds a great idea for the Sunday league, then you could all go to the Saints games as well.
  6. No I don't, nobody in their right mind putting up the sort of money they are, would allow the sort of background that there has been, occur again. If the fans kicked off and refused to back the club they could lose an enormous amount of money. There is no way they wouldn't know this. I have a suspicion one may be, I don't know for certain.
  7. The minimum proof of funds figure already required and passed for the two existing bidders is enormous. The league may have ****ed up. the 10 points is being deducted for a breach of insolvency regulations, specifically not co-operating with the league's investigators Grant Thornton. However the league had issued different, conflicting briefs to the two parties and the club rightly insisted GT comply with the one the club had been supplied by the league. GT then walked out. Interesting I think, I can't see it being left there. I'm not totally sure but I don't think Salz is heading up either of the two potential bidders, he may be the third one yet to prove funds. The NDA's are working and there is no clue about who exactly, although there are little leaks from both side about where they are.
  8. Two tickets in the post to Macchu Pichu, I'd go by train to Cusco, South American airlines and mountains go together sometimes.
  9. Read my post at the top of this page it along with the other posts I made on the subject covers your concerns. Let me know if you agree.
  10. They didn't take the points away for that. For a breach of insolvency regulations. They gave a brief to Grant Thornton, a different one to the club, who insisted GT worked to the club's copy. GT walked out reported back to the league who then with 5 mins notice and no further contact imposed the penalty for the club failing to co-operate. This will run and run.
  11. Now tell me. Why do we need a CVA? I know but do you. And the answer to your question ' for a breach of insolvency regulations'.
  12. I did give him a clue, the old 15th century house down from the cathedral but obviously nobody is as well travelled.
  13. Everything I know is available somewhere else, there is no cryptic clues.
  14. I think you might find we will be debt free, why would we need a CVA as the club is not in administration and the overdraft and the debts are the clubs and probably will be settled in full. SLH has assets but little debt which will be sorted by the buyout and the purchase of the stadium.
  15. I look forward to that,:smt117 is it mere coincidence that you are coming over for the match
  16. Just a gentle word in your ear, it's an ex Saint that you are lecturing. I just thought you should know. No wonder he feels devastated.
  17. I met a gypsy today, she told me to look for a star in the east. I wonder what that was all about
  18. The iron beds, the brick cages and the torture equipment nearly made me sick and that tower of bones and piles of skulls at the killing fields was unnatural. For some reason I took photos of those walls.
  19. I did mean Saints. I otherwise have an idyllic life thank god.
  20. I thought I'd cheer everybody up it's been a really crappy year.
  21. Been to the interrogation centre in the secondary school and the killing fields in Phnom Phen. Jesus that was a scary experience.
  22. Bill, I'll send you an email in a minute.
  23. Been there liked the old house by the river, at the back of the government buildings opposite the cathedral. What's it's name.
  24. And that means? That we are going to be bought.:):)
  25. Today we reached rock bottom when the penalty was missed and the game was drawn. Sod the minus ten points we may or may not get, it's irrelevant, from today we can finally look forward to a rosy future. In my opinion in a short while we will have new owners, no debt, a stadium that if another match was never played there, will pay for itself. A football club that will have the best gates/income/costs in any division of the football league. New management, almost a completely new squad, a much lower wage bill, completely self sustaining and profitable. If the right management is brought in in May, the squad brought together before pre season, possibly some quality loans, then we can look forward to a cracking season. Don't ask me any questions I Don't know the answer. However for the first time in years I feel very happy tonight. I feel confident the takeover will happen sooner rather than later.
