The stadium could make about a million a year even if nobody played there. It won't happen. The club will survive.
-
I think if he was on a free transfer it would be expensive. He has been an absolutely lightweight non productive player this year and should have been in the reserves from October to try and rebuild his game.

Email dluker@saintsfc.co.uk with this idea. Tell him I told you to email him your idea, he knows me.

Intrinsically or inextricably linked. No, SLH would be better off keeping the assets and winding up SFC.
-
Skacel wasn't picked against Burnley due the appearance fee.
-
The club have no assets and £6m debts, the assets you talk about + the lodge belong to SLH Ltd. So selling them won't help SFC Ltd unless the administrator handed over the money, which he wouldn't.

I have never seen a takeover that was in the public domain actually happen. Yes, I know there are some that were the subject of boardroom battles that were fought in public. Certainly not a company like ours. What normally happens is practically nothing, then all of a sudden it's a takeover and it isn't who you thought it was going to be.

I called in at Totton but you were dropping somebody off. How many sweets in the jar? I didn't have a clue.

Neither does Abu Dhabi/Dubai.

I did say 'events', really just waiting, it's usually Friday I understand, -
I'd go for Harry Cripps and Skinner Normanton with Roy Lunnis as defensive coach.

I'm hoping it's a done deal and we can stand down. An understanding is in place to mount a rescue bid, I am in contact with Nick Illingsworth. In the present circumstances there is little we can do but monitor events. -

The echo tonight reported that Tom Scott is not a bidder. -
Minimum. Wouldn't you say that was enormous?

The clock didn't start at the kick off. It eventually started over a minute late. -
I have been given a name by a non connected source, a business man who half owns a massive business, is a vip at all the big sporting events, has hired SMS for a customers kickabout, hired Upton Park last year for £18,000 for the same thing, hired the oval for cricket last summer. I digress, but the name is a household football name, not Souness. It is just something he had been told and when we were talking about bidders he said he thought this guy was buying it and named his backers, an enormous financial firm. If this is true then it would be fantastic. As my son and his daughter are going to give us both another grandchild in a couple of weeks time you will have to forgive me for naming neither. This is not cryptic ITK crap, if it doesn't come off it's one of those things. However of all the people except for the usual billionaires this would be MY no1 pick.

How much money would we need to re-build for premiership?

Then you should go onto google and do a bit of research on insolvency. I would be interested to know why a solvent trading company would need a CVA. Furthermore, SLH owns the lodge, SMS, the farm, staplewood. SFC owns nothing and has £6m in debts inc the overdraft, and is being kept going by the creditors waiting for their money. They will get a lot more if the company doesn't go into administration, however as it has these liabilities it couldn't fund administration and would be wound up immediately. Get it now, if we are not bought in the next three weeks it's over. -
If anybody had an idea that there was money missing not shown in the books and I personally feel that unlikely, it's the fraud office not the FA/league that would be dealing with any investigation.

I'd be very surprised if it doesn't happen in the next two weeks, the two bidders could slow it down a bit. There will be a clearout of management and players, with the sort of money put up front these people aren't messing about. I just hope they don't go for celebrity management but go for proven quality. -
A nice idea but born out of paranoia, Lowe won't be back. The minimum proof of funds is an enormous sum and I do mean enormous and two have come up with it. There is no way they don't have advisors that know everything that went on. Lowe is finished, if the potential buyers wanted to lose a lot of money he would do it for them. They aren't putting up that sort of money to let a **** like him bugger it all up in short order. Sounds a great idea for the Sunday league, then you could all go to the Saints games as well.
-
No I don't, nobody in their right mind putting up the sort of money they are, would allow the sort of background that there has been, occur again. If the fans kicked off and refused to back the club they could lose an enormous amount of money. There is no way they wouldn't know this. I have a suspicion one may be, I don't know for certain.
-
The minimum proof of funds figure already required and passed for the two existing bidders is enormous. The league may have ****ed up. the 10 points is being deducted for a breach of insolvency regulations, specifically not co-operating with the league's investigators Grant Thornton. However the league had issued different, conflicting briefs to the two parties and the club rightly insisted GT comply with the one the club had been supplied by the league. GT then walked out. Interesting I think, I can't see it being left there. I'm not totally sure but I don't think Salz is heading up either of the two potential bidders, he may be the third one yet to prove funds. The NDA's are working and there is no clue about who exactly, although there are little leaks from both side about where they are.
