Could have been. I heard the shout. I have low expectations of refs. It's a difficult job.
-
He didn't look the part, being a bit of a porker and all but fair play, no howlers.
-
No fanny. Just one pass too many on occasion.
-
MoTD pundits were impressed. Questioned whether there is a better keeper in the PL.
-
What do we fans know but when they took off Medel who was protecting their back four and we've lost Ramirez to injury we brought on Gallagher, would it not have been an option to bring on JWP and push Schneiderlin further forward. Delivery from the fullbacks was poor. By the time we get the crosses in, the penalty box is defended and the crosses have to be pinpoint accurate. They weren't. Few players not on the game today.
-
Not for me. Arsenal are as good at signing keepers as they are at signing strikers. Marshall was good. Kept them in it by saving Lamberts free kick. Looks like a solid keeper to me.
-
Why do you suspect that?
-
Has he been offered a job then?
-
I agree that today's statement from Pochettino is a bit disappointing because it doesn't put minds at rest and you could be right about him leaving, though there's no job for him elsewhere that we are aware of. I'm hoping his reticence is about the extent to which the Board will improve the team, Guan's information notwithstanding.
-
So the Board is planning to take us downwards?

Plucky little club. Hope they make it. Not dissimilar to our neighbours to the east. They're a plucky little club too. The main differance being their league status, obviously.
-
Odd that the agent should complain about Ramirez not playing just after an opportunity opens up for Ramirez to play due Rodriguez's injury.
-
Same reason Mata's no longer at Chelsea. Seems nobody is too talented to be left out if they don't work hard enough for the team.

CONFIRMED: Rodriguez ruptures ACL - out for SIX months

He was improving every game so as to get on that plane. Very disappointed for him. -
We were all too afraid to fart. I had to move to London so I could trump.
-
Why do you think he's fourth choice?

Pochettino berates "dumb refereeing" in post-match press conference
Graffito replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I don't know whether this was ever posted on here. It's part of a review of refereeing decisions last season carried out by an Arsenal website. It looks at refereeing of Saints matches. It acknowledges that it's used a relatively small sample. It concludes: "Looking at those numbers I think it is more or less a miracle that they managed to keep themselves in the PL. They sure didn’t get much from the refs to stay in the PL." http://blog.emiratesstadium.info/archives/30374 -
The Manager has a year left on his contract. The Manager has said he is happy to review his position (i.e. discuss extending his contract) in the summer. The Board has said that no player will be sold that MP wants to keep. Yet you say the Manager and the better players will leave. You say you are being realistic. I say what you are saying is pure speculation.

We'd like to think so but refs make witless decisions and players cheat so Fonte shouldn't have stuck out his leg. He was never going to win the ball that way and he invited the dive and the ref was sucked in. It would be indefensible for any defender, let alone a good experienced pro like Fonte, and it was just plain dopey.
-
Owen's a block of wood and Macmanaman's got the kind of face you'd like to punch, even before he opens his big gob.
-
The Fonte penalty. I like Fonte. He's good enough for the PL (not saying we shouldn't get an upgrade) but what he did was rank stupidity. Refs make mistakes, that's a given, and often give soft penalties which this clearly was. Why give the ref the opportunity.
