  1. Created by the aptly named Harry Pratt:lol: Enough.
  2. See Forest have signed Coppinger too. Will supply a few for Sharp as he did at Doncaster. Forest could challenge this season though 11 new players might take a while to gel or worse do a Leicester.
  3. Fair play to the boy Lineacre. He should "have a word" in Lawro's shell like.
  4. In a way Sharp epitomises Saints' position and their predicament. He was signed to get the goals to help us over the line to promotion, which is exactly what he did. Once promoted, everything changes and the club has to look afresh at the squad. Despite the understandable euphoria of Ramirez's signing we still have a number of players that were playing in League 1 18 months ago. No disrespect to those players nor to where they have taken us from in so short a space of time, quite the opposite, but it remains to be seen whether we have the strength throughout the squad to succeed in the PL.
  5. Southampton have had little luck landing the final part of their transfer jigsaw though, with a deal for a left-back still far from completion, after Blackburn rejected their £3 million offer for Olsson. Sweden international Olsson is desperate to quit relegated Blackburn this summer, and also has interest from West Brom, Sunderland and Wigan, but all are looking at other options. 6. Good move. Lineker will rip the **** out of him on MoTD.
  7. Mark Lawrenson, BBC Sport speaking on BBC Radio 5 live: "Liverpool cannot sign just Clint Dempsey, who is not an out-and-out striker. They need someone else as well, otherwise their problems will be the same as last year - not enough goals. I can just see them being in the same predicament as last season." Who do you have in mind Lawro?
  8. Dave Jones should get a good reception.

  10. Love it.

  12. Seems reasonable to me.
  13. By today must be translated to the sale Uruguayan Southampton to unlock the negotiations set to conclude today and maybe some other purchase. Now or never - or at least it should be. Tuesday afternoon, in fact the president Guaraldi assured fans absolutely want to conclude the negotiations with Southampton not later than the morning today to not find yourself having to work quickly on the last day of the transfer market. Are now many in Bologna that count the minutes left before the end of the day, hoping that any problems preventing the two clubs to reach an agreement and be able to see it again so Gaston Ramirez with the shirt of Bologna. In fact there is no possible substitute at the market to fill the gap that would open technique losing the young Uruguayan talent for a figure decidedly favorable. To have a comparison just think the figure that Manchester City close disburse at this time to buy eighteen Nastasic from Fiorentina: 18 million. Bologna is instead ready to give 70% of the label of one of the hottest prospects in world football born in 1990 to just 14 million. Let us trust the president, however, the word Guaraldi and wait for the end of the morning to learn the fate of the boy and therefore also of all receipts and payments transactions
  14. Looking forward to seeing Lambert bully Carrick filling in at CB.

  16. I managed to do the same. I'm pleased I got a ticket but it's clearly wrong that a queueing system is nothing of the sort and appears to have been entirely random and that sales were possible before the published time of 9.00am.
  17. He could play behind Rodriguez. I watched him and the others' shooting practice before ko on Saturday. He strikes the ball brilliantly and unerringly into the net in contrast to Rodriguez and Sharp who were hit and miss. Only a fool would swap that for the likes of David Goodwillie.
  18. They could but they need to play close together.
  19. 4-3-3. I get the theory. It's the execution that bothers me. That performance was anything but fluid. We didn't move the ball anywhere near quickly enough and without much pace in the side that's essential. Too many passes played across the back four or between the central midfield pair and the back four leaving the centre backs to play it forward...generally poorly. I'm really concerned that we don't have the right players to play this way. I wonder whether the players believe in it. I really hope they can make it work but I found the whole match incredibly frustrating, a big contrast to the confidence displayed in last season's opening home fixture.
  20. Spanish.
  21. It would be naive to think that transfer business is done through formal channels only. Holloway says he will report the club (let's assume Saints), to the authorities, not that he has reported them. Probably a warning shot and at the same time a bit of public pressure on his player. Though I doubt Saints will be remotely concerned with Holloway's threats and if the player wants to move, as we all know, eventually he'll move.
  22. Presumably he won't be going to West Ham either then. If he's too choosy he might end up in the Championship this season.
  23. Yeah that eagle was impressive. I didn't see it prancing though.
