How many, Uhmm, 'Returning Fans' have you come across?
Graffito replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
It's a broad church. All are welcome. As long as the fu*ckers don't push me down the queue for tickets. -
The answer's out there. A meaning will emerge when we least expect it. On the other hand it could be ********.

Can Lallana play as our attacking Centre Midfielder?
Graffito replied to kelkel31's topic in The Saints
Yes he can and very effectively though I think he won't play it as a matter of course as I believe we'll generally play two up front. -
Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

Adkins was at the play off final too. So looking at a Blackpool player maybe. -
Not wishing to throw cold water on this but if the man in charge doesn't know his North Africa from his East Africa, nor which colonial language is generally spoken in each region and he's been planning this for three years.....quite funny in a way but it doesn't inspire confidence.

Interesting but odd. It's usually the other way round with Managers wanting to spend big and Chairmen not. And how does this square with sustainability - financial fair play and all the rest of it like with the investment in the Academy and bringing players through? There may well be differences between the two but I'm not sure this is quite one of them.

We'd need the CL winning team to come with him though.

Prefer to go to the matches or go down the pub and watch when I can't go and it's on Sky. Also think the packages are not good value.

Quality player but age and injury has caught up with him and it seemed inevitable he would be released. I heard two seasons ago from a couple of people up here in North London where he still has connections that he was doing or intended doing his coaching badges.

Holloway need only pin that to the dressing room wall today.

You can't beat a nice ornage shirt.

Michael Owen is available.....for Weddings, Funerals and Bar Mitzvahs perhaps.

It would take some balls and would stretch credulity for Liverpool's American owners to replace with someone most Liverpool fans have probably never heard of a Liverpool legend sacked after just 12 months in the job.

They're loveable rogues really.

West Ham. I live in London and many times over the years have I enjoyed the warm Cockney welcome you get down at Upton Park.

Music at football doesn't generally create atmosphere except where there is none to begin with. At most grounds, including St Mary's, music destroys atmosphere, especially with the ****y willy sound system we have.

It's a load of balls isn't it Saint Lard.

The oddest thing for me is that just over a year ago Saints were in the third division. Incredible what has been achieved. Won something in each of the last three years. It's good to be a Saints fan right now. I just hope we do ourselves justice next year..I think we will. Whatever happens though, the last three years have been memorable.

Saints v Anderlecht Eoropean Cup winners cup 1976
Graffito replied to CLOTH EARS's topic in The Saints
You lot have good memories. I was at the home tie under the East stand. That's it. Can't remember bugger all else, even with the assistance of YouTube. Alzheimer's, in many ways the forgotten illness. -
Who invited that twa@t.

South-coast pendulum swings Southampton's way
Graffito replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
The reality is that nobody cares except us....and HMRC ...and the creditors....and the 60% of clubs that have gone into admin....on second thoughts, crap article. -
Cardiff to win tonight and get a draw at Upton Park.

South-coast pendulum swings Southampton's way
Graffito replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
"Ultimately, both these south coast clubs have enjoyed similar highs at different times in their recent history. The difference, perhaps, is that when they were rocked to their foundations, Southampton's building blocks proved sturdier." By implication the fans. -
Annoying my wife and daughters to the point where they're pleased to see the season start again in August.

I don't see them as a status symbol. They're a bloody nuisance.
